For those of you who want a slower version of this video, like me: if you change the speed to 0.75, the workout goes from 105 bpm to 180 bpm, with 7.5 bpm increments. Here the full list of (bpm showed in video at normal speed) -> (bpm at 0.75 speed) 140 bpm -> 105 bpm 150 bpm -> 112.5 bpm 160 bpm -> 120 bpm 170 bpm -> 127.5 bpm 180 bpm -> 135 bpm 190 bpm -> 142.5 bpm 200 bpm -> 150 bpm 210 bpm -> 157.5 bpm 220 bpm -> 165 bpm 230 bpm -> 172.5 bpm 240 bpm -> 180 bpm Hope this helps :)

For medical reasons I had to quit playing drums entirely for about 4 months. Went from a pretty decent level to feeling like an absolute zero. It's really frustrating, after over a decade playing metal, not to be able to hold simple sixteenths on my double bass for over a couple of bars; let alone patterns. I will use the stonekiller workout (slow 100-200 version) on my feet and see how it works out. Should be great to reactivate my muscles. Thank you, Riccardo!!

Interessante. Come hai fatto ad impostare il metronomo in maniera progressiva?

When my weak hand gets to a speed it's uncomfortable with, the muscles start to get tighter. Should I keep powering through at this speed or slow it down and only play with a very loose hand?

    SLOWDOWN

Ciao, Riccardo. I discovered this video yesterday, and decided to try this workout daily. Some context, I used to play drums way back, took lessons for six years, was never a super-talent, and then I stopped playing for a few years and only recently decided to come back into it. My question is, as someone who is very rusty and certainly can't achieve the same speed as you (my right hand is fine up to about 200-210 bpm, and the left hand starts to struggle at 170-180 bpm), is it useful for me to do this workout as you do it, even though I can't keep up at all with the higher speeds? Or should I stick to the lower bpms and maybe stop at about 200? What would you say is most useful to someone like me? Grazie mille :)

Hi! I suggest you to slow down and increase the tempo step by step. As I said in the video this workout could be made at other range of speeds. Start for example with 100-200. It already was in my plan to publish the lower tempo version of this workout :) Soon on facebook etc! Thank you
