(and barbeque sauce)
Song by Neil cicierega, Mouth Dreams - Ribs: • Video
(btw it's not actually 4k I just rendered it as such for the improved bitrate)
This one took a while to make. Half being just working away at it, the other being my procrastination and aversion to long projects. Think I'll be a little less ambitious next time. Can you decipher the plot to this fever dream of an animation? Good luck!
And hey if you enjoy my stuff, I do have a Patreon. So if you decide to support the channel, know that it does mean a lot to me: / googleygareth
Also I have a twitter if you're into that thing: / googleygareth

Falling action: Coach, in a last ditch effort at bargaining, gives the ribs to the hunter, resolving the conflict.

Because sincere effort is what made this shitpost into true art, I felt sincere warmth at Coach sharing with Nick at the end. Nick seemed frustrated and angry at his lack of sensory enjoyment (one might say he couldn't even smell his own knees), and Coach readily handed over some delicious food when Nick indicated he was just confused and hungry ("hey, you, what do you see?" read to me like Nick genuinely didn't know why Coach was enjoying the plate of ribs so much). The broomstick in the boat even feels like a red herring for Coach to fight Nick off, but... nope. Sharing food with someone is what resolves the tension. Love it.

It kinda says something about Coach's character that, even after both options were considered (he definitely glanced over at the broomstick as he looked to his ribs,) he still opted for the non-violent of the two. Even if they run out of Chili's Baby Back Ribs on that aimless boat ride, before they run ashore and grab seconds, there won't be bad blood between the two. Just barbecue sauce

Its absolutely fantastic to watch this video in 0.5x Speed and see how well each and every single facial expression is done so meticulously. This is on level with Valve's TF2 SFM's they made. I have honestly never seen that much detail in a SFM since those videos until now. And what better then one of Neil's songs to go along with it. Absolute masterpiece, I really hope to see more like this.
