This is genuinely good, and probably my favorite video of yours. I'm a young composer (11th grade) and love watching videos like this just in case I learn a little something extra. I really appreciate the editing in this video! I've been following/listening to you back for around two years since I played Balkan Seven in my concert band. A lot of your music and ideas are really inspiring to me! I have now gained an intensive love for more "odd" time signatures. Keep it up! I'm gonna share this video with some of my friends getting into composition :) 2:01 my favorite part 100% By the way: This is a channel I just use for random stuff so my compositions aren't on here :)

This is your best video, in my opinion. You put in so many cool effects, added dance moves (which I loved), shared great info, and awesome visuals. I even loved the picture of Rascal, haha! This is great and well worth all of your hard work. I also loved your thumbnail!

6:48 Light is also made up of frequencies. This is a distinction without a difference. I think a better articulation of this point would have been something like, "just as complex colors are made up of various fundamental colors of different wavelengths (or frequencies), complex sounds are made up of various fundamental tones of different frequencies."

👍, So the first thing that you need to know is that ALL 🎶 is made ⬆️ of sounds, but not all sounds. Some of them play noise. For sounds to be 🎶, they need to be organized into ways that make people feel something, 👍 😃, 😔, 😬, 😱, and other feelings. Or it 🤔 just make you wanna 🎤, hum, 💃, or tap your toes. There are 5 ways that people organize sounds to make 🎶. The 5 ways are 🎶, harmony, 🥁, timbre, and intensity. 🎶- A string of high or low pitches that you can 🎤 along, or play 🎸 with. Harmony- Multiple pitches are played at the same time. 🥁- sounds 🔁 overtime. Timbre- ☝️ sound play different from another. Intensity- how loud or soft the sounds are played. And finally, when 🎶, harmony, 🥁, timbre, and intensity are the ONLY 5 ways that make people feel something… that’s how you make 🎶!🎤🎺🎷🪕🎻🪘🎼🎸🥁📯🎹

5 minutes in, my only contention is that you're using a square wave and talking about _clicks_ per second when most musical tunes are constructed from sine waves and therefore _cycles_ per second.

Sure, but as someone whose taught these concepts for decades in K-12 education, i recognized that sometimes you have to zoom out (generalize) to make a clear point and not loose students in too much detail.
