Theirs was literally the best, most supportive, and pure relationship I have seen in this show. Deep love doesn't always comes from sexual attraction.

@@sillylittlesheepjax6009 He wasn’t there when shit hit the fan because he was “dead” wtf 😂 Also if you’re referring to the kid fight at Driftmark he was grieving his sister. You saw how bereft he was at the ceremony and then had to be brought up by Qarl out of the sea.

Laenor and Rhaenyra are true friendship goals. ♥️ Supporting each other unconditionally, protecting each other affairs, raising their children with love and care, Laenor hating all Rhaenyra’s enemies and Rhaenyra finally giving him what he wanted by letting him free. They’re the ultimate BFFs 👯‍♀️ I hope to see more of their dynamic in season 2. 🙏🏻

I really like their friendship and how they trust and care of eachother. 🥰

As you said, I think that two of the greatest strengths of this show are how good the cast is both the younger and the older versions and how great relationships are portrayed. In my opinion you've showed perfectly how much respect but also love these two had for each other. The conversation between them in the last episode was pure gold. They deserve the world. Loveeeeed it ❤

Their relationship was heartfelt. I liked they platonic dynamic

Rhaenyra & Laenor are a great example of how ppl can have deep love for one another without sexual attraction. They’re one of the healthiest marriages shown in ASOIAF. I wish they could have had their own biological children, it’d have made things so much easier for them. That being said, Jace, Luke & Joffrey are all Laenor’s sons. Harwin might be the sperm donar, but it’s Laenor who raised & loved those boys as sons. The Black faction (and Halaena) all deserved better.
