I worked for a Japanese bike dealership here in the US for years. After the owners sold it off to corporate, I left and started running my own bike repair shop by myself. I miss the banter with my bosses and the other wrenches on duty. Unfortunately, now it comes off as rather odd when the banter starts in my shop as it is only me and very one sided... Great series on the RGV! Keep the videos coming!
@ProjectMoto

Ha yeah banter must be a bit different on your own .. but on the plus side at least you don’t have anyone you don’t like working with I guess which some people have a problem with at work, and thanks, more to come

You think the birds are laughing. I think that when I have heard them before. Bet you've never had any angry magpies screaming at you though, I have.

Ha it felt like it 😂 well I have , not directly at me but when my cat got a magpie it was like a scene from the Birds.. they were everywhere and screaming for ages
I love the honesty and realism of your channel and videos. One thing that I would love to know is ….. what’s your story? What’s your biking history and ….. Do you own, work at the dealership or just good friends with them? Also love your too and fro with the old bloke ( Paul ) 😂 Keep it going ❤

Thanks a lot, appreciate your comments , ha what do I do at the shop?? I think everyone there would like to know that 😂 they are my good friends .. my history with bikes is I have ridden and loved bikes all my life , worked in a bike breakers, bike shop and over the years ridden so many bikes , usual things all bikers do, off road, track days, race schools etc.. I’m very lucky getting to ride so many bikes all the time.. just love bikes :) I’m always at the shop to talk to people about bikes and whatever else, if I’m not out on a bike obviously :)

I’ll definitely have to have a ride over in the summer and say hello and have a bite to eat while I’m there.
Looking forward to this build. I'd be checking 2nd gear drive dogs and the power valves as they are both weak points on these engines.

Thanks , yeah looking forward to getting it all done, the engine is pretty good but will check, tbh i’l probably use it and see how it is… then if anything does ever go wrong there might be, well will be an engine upgrade of some sort 😂
