Very good explanation of all the sweep and DAC capabilities ... unlike Keysight documentation. Great job. I just need to do output tables to show how your side vars get the component filenames in the display. More python rabbit hole exploration. I hope I catch the Red Queen at lunch or tea.

Yes , it is useful to freeze the BOM list using Coil Craft components while performing Layout simulations itself, no need to wait until board get fabricated

Yes, it is very flexible and you don't need to constraint yourself to one vendor, you can include whatever S2P files you have and see which files gives you the best response and select accordingly.

Hi, I have made a Novel approach to optimise the Hairpin and Edge coupled Bandpass filters for frequency band 3-4 Ghz and 6-8 Ghz using parametric option in ADS both filters are giving almost same performance after fabrication within short time without touching the ANSYS

Dear Mr. Anurag , no words can describe how you support us in our RF circuit design especially for LNA applications. if you don't mind I have three questions: 1- I have LNA circuit design that have two input terminals and two output to make it works on two different bands (4 termG ). I would like to check the stability using Mu1 and Muprime1, but because of existence of more than two terminal (Term G), Mu1 and Muprime1 wont work, so do you have any way I could for example remove two of 4 (termG) by replacing two term G with resistor of 50 ohm? 2- I have designed an SPST in ADS, but I don't know how to find the Off-state Capacitance and On-state resistance of my SPST switch using the ADS, could you advice me how to calculate them (I am using GaN HEMT with G-D-S terminals)? 3- I would like to take your permission to put your name in my conference/journal Paper for acknowledgment, because honestly without your support , I wont reach to a good design of my LNA with this fast progress. So could I know your position or I just could put your full name only. Many thanks sir

Hi, 1. Your idea of using 50ohm resistor is absolutely fine and will result in desired outcome..👍 2. It will require little discussion so I would recommend you to contact Keysight tech support team in your region. 3. You can just use my full name and add company as Keysight Technologies. Once published, feel free to drop the online link for the paper as it is always good to see what designers are doing...😊

Hi Zhe Shi, That shouldn't be too difficult and I can surely prepare a tutorial on this topic. In the meantime if you want an example then you would surely find something on Keysight Knowledge Center portal.

@@BhargavaAnurag Thank you so much.Hope to see the tutorial soon. When I simulate the same circuit, the output wave is different in ADS and Multisim. I don't know the reason. And the result of Multisim is similiar with literature results Does the Transient solver have restrictions on use conditions

Hi Zara, It depends what kind of model you have available. If it is vendor library also known as Design Kit then you can follow the steps shown in Tutorial-9 video of Learn ADS in 5mins. If you have SPICE model then you can use File->Import in schematic to import the spice model, there is a video on the same on my KZread channel as well. Hope this helps...
