Reximex Ixia Compact full review inc' chrono string
This video accompanies my June 2024 Airgun World magazine article, after Nik and the team at Wirral Guns kindly lent me this two-tone Ixia Compact, by Turkish company Reximex.

with a slow pellet and a huge difference in bore and sight line about( three inches )any canting will shift poi considerably so groups would be tighter if the scope wasa lot closer and a level bubble would be a must with this set up . i love reximex rifles my sub 12 ftlb .177 pretentis is as acurate as rimfire out to 40 yards

I agree cant is something all bullpup owners have to beware-of, but with this stock shape I wouldn't be happy mounting this scope much lower. The standard Zulus mount would lower it a few mm, but I had to use the EVC 108MOA mount to achieve the right scope position. The Ixia's raiser rail is too far forwards for many digital scopes, which have short eye relief. Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
Nice review, i have one in .177 and its great.Barrel needed a good clean and had to lead in the barrel, nice 10p grouping at 30m. Mags are not that great, going to get 3D printed one to see if it will help with grouping
THE reason the hammer adjuster is not working is that the hammer spring has been cut down . If you fit a new spring it takes the rifle to 15ftlb without even adjusting the reg

@@RussDouglas222 I am in uk . The reason I found this out is that I noticed alot of hammer bounce when shooting . Now I've shimmed the spring i've been able to turn down my reg to 70bar and shooting 11.7ftlb and the rifle feels so much smoother to shoot

Hi Russ. I think you may not have allowed enough time between shots on the shot string. If you take just the first round from each mag from the first 8, the results look a lot better. Mag FPE FPS dev 1 10.49 567 2 10.39 565 2 3 10.47 567 2 4 10.31 562 5 5 10.19 559 8 6 10.1 557 10 7 10.09 556 11 8 10.03 555 12 9 9.28 534 33 The deviation excluding the 9th is now 12 fps. I think this is due the longer time between shots while reloading allowing the reg to balance? Anyway keep up the good work and I'll look forward to the new Arken content when it's ready. hint hint 😁

I believe, or so told .barrel swop is a factory or gun Smith job . I was hoping to get a barrel kit and swop as needed . Is that correct?? Cheers .

Reximex barrel kits are non existent. Better get a LW barrel and buy (or 3d print) magazines. Pellet probe is an easy project on a mini lathe.
Looking for a vid on how to adjust trigger too .as I think it's a bit heavy . I know stock has to come off . Do you know of any ? Cheers. You'd think reximex would do one on tere site but nothing so far.

Be careful trying to adjust it. The power adjuster spring and bearing will fly out. And if you lose it good luck finding out the sizes as you have seen Reximex don’t help out much. There are some online forums with some great people on there. But I think it will void your life time warranty with range right the U.K. importers

Did a great job on this video. But there’s no issues with that company. There’s nothing going on there’s no lawsuits there’s major controversy going on with Sweden.
