    i use moon clips for my 5 shot jframe i take 2 moonclips and flip them inside each other to carry them it makes them into a stable block instead of flimsy and flopping around it works with a 5 shot moon clip

    @@thedowntrodden1522 I like this idea. Is it hard to get them apart when you need a reload?

    My personal solution to this problem is the carry my king cobra and a Sig P238 as a pocket pistol no extra ammunition my logic is it's easier to reach for another gun than to reload the first firearm

    Try two left hand middle fingers through the frame to hold the cylinder and use the speed loader/strips/clips with you right hand.

    I carry a revolver as my primary EDC about 6 months out of the year. Just like yours but mine is a 686 plus 3 inch barrel talo wood grip edition. I stick with a speedloader. Hasnt failed me yet. Practice practice practice. But i totally agree with you on the J frame or ruger LCR. Speedloader just doesnt work

    Practice is the only way to go! I love that Talo 686+ it's a beaut. Theres just something comforting about a .357 Mag

    3 You need a speed loader for fresh ammo. And 18 round belt for tactical reload. Or customize your belt. 6 round for 357, 6 round for 38 cal. Or 6 round for 44 mag

    Interesting hearing your take on your revolver carry ammo. I’ve actually had good luck with my speedloaders. The same speedloaders work for both my Colt and Ruger revolvers. The more pointed ammo seems to load the best for me. I use a 158g Fiocchi JHP. Thanks for the video.

    Yea I really had good luck with the speed strips. Of course they are not as fast as the other options but man, they definitely carry much easier. And, statistically, my 5 or 7 rounds of .357 MAG should be enough to end most situations. According to statistics anyway...

    Zeta6 makes rubberized speed loaders, strips and clips for J and K frames. They work good.

    Hey rambo stone this particular model has a 5" barrel which makes finding a holster slightly more difficult. But, I bought the SPEED BEEZ 986 5" Tactical Holster which is still an L-Frame model and it fit perfectly! Here is a link: www.speedbeez.com/product/speed-beez-outside-waist-band-sw-986-5-inch-tactical-revolver-holster-fits-smith-wesson-5-inch-l-frame-uspsa-legal-speed-rig/ I also had a leather holster custom made by Shado Holsters where they cut down a 6" to a 5" for me. www.shado.com/shop-our-holsters.html

    How do you like those g10 grips?

  • @MagicPrepper

    @MagicPrepper

    They are freakin amazing! I love the way the rubber melts to your hands but the G10 makes me feel like I have something real in my grip. And the stippling is so aggressive I have zero fear of dropping my firearm. I just swapped them on to my S&W 460 if you want to check them out on that beast! kzread.info/dash/bejne/h6uOpKudeL3JlLw.html

    I use a speed reloadeder and revolver for my edc, there’s much misinformation here and the technique for reloading is trash to be real.
