Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Caleb Omolo is a Kenyan farmer who has figured out how to create income and grow more than enough food for his family on just one acre of land. In this video he shares how other people could follow his example by starting food forests on their land.

Absolutely, Caleb is as passionate as anyone about the magic of food forests.
This man is a wealth of information. He applied permaculture principle really well.
Africans working with mother earth rather than against it like western farmers with their poisonous fertilizers and problematic mono culture. Our people and the planet salute you Caleb !!!!!
I believe this is one of the best videos you have posted, showing a real food forest at work. Beautiful too. Well done Caleb.

Wow, pure African genius, much respect 🙏🙏
Ive watched a few of your videos and im so happy to see our people being so knowledgable and expressing themselves so eloquently. More than that, their results speak for themselves. Kudos.
Inspiring! Hope more farmers get to know his work and learn about the food forest method.

@@GrowingSmall do you train farmers on how to utilize their spaces too?
This man is wise and intellent, a very powerful combination. If this can ce copied by 50 million small scale farmers all over the world, climate change can be stopped as well as rural poverty.

Exactly what I think as well, Marie. I'd love if the so called development assistance could promote exactly these type of designs rather than pour money into monoculture-based, 'modern' farming. It's unlikely we'll see this as agrobusiness can't profit - Caleb's food forest doesn't need chemicals or artificial fertilizers or hybrid seeds! Just got to hope that more small-scale farmers embrace permaculture food forests because they realize it can make them better off, healthier, and more secure.

@@GrowingSmall I have come to realise that humans do not learn quickly from their mistakes. In medicine, everything that was not according to their protocols were critisised. After decades they realise that humans are body and souls, not only a body. That emotions affect the health of a person greatly and that natural medicines work just as well if not better. The same will eventually happen in farming, only when the earth force them to change. It has started already, but man is hardheaded and greedy.
Very well done Caleb...your food forest looks amazing...
This gets my heart rate way up there. This is the future. Zephaniah Phiri... presente! Come on Kenya 🇰🇪, we can do this!

This is great stuff. Are snakes an issue in this type of agricultural implementation or permaculture in general? If so, how can somebody deal with them? I am pretty sure they have a role to play but my phobia does not agree. Kindly advise
