I much prefer the silver! Purple is great too, but I think its great to offer both especially because silver will match pretty much every build. Love all the work you put in

Just ordered a team spec 540 and a crawlmaster mini v3 for mt VRD Carbon. Love my fusion pro but had to try out the stubby kit/revolver life! 😂

It looks nice with the metallic orange or a copper orange color or like a like a metallic light blue

I was so impressed, I bought another. Great startup, super quiet with the holmes v2 esc. Im half tempted to by the stubby. Maybe anodize in green next year?

Am32 is an open source project that we directly support. It offers a stepping startup that's extremely slow and controlled, as well as silent operation.

So why am i still loving your brushed motors…? I guess I’m living in the past. They are still soo good and simple though. 🤙🏽

If I made a v4 it would be based off the latest team spec. This is the 2023 team spec, in terms of version. I just like purple, but also 80s nostalgic 💜

Crawlmaster v3

Kababfpv did a video on split shifted magnets and it made me wonder if they would work well for crawlers? Supposed to be more low end control?

Not always, but sometimes if the pitch and span and angle of shift is exactly right. Also destroys torque density and loaded efficiency.

Is the snub and super snub for portal truck with big gearing. I have a straight axle with revolver s and links hit some times the new M might be just enough but curious about the others. Comp truck 5 lb with over drive and v2 esc

When you guys going to make the wires shorter. Nice motors. But people buy these to be small and compact. Esc is only 3 inches away. And people can always make the motor wires longer from the esc

Yea they will still work with a castle controller. But once you get an am32 you won't want to use a castle

What would we update? It's got all the changes that I put into team specs, just classic styling on the back and huge size

Can you tell me if there is a place that rates motors by the noise they make? The high pitched scream of some motors instantly triggers my tinnitus and takes all the fun out of crawling or trail runs. Even watching some KZread episodes can be painful. I am looking for the quietest motors and electronics so I can once again enjoy the hobby. Can you please recommend electronics you think would fit the bill. Thank you.

Get a revolver with a crawlmaster mini v2. Dead silence. If you want something better suited for trails then a fusion from hobbywing is the way to go. Castle escs are what makes the noise

One of these revolvers with his quiet esc will do great for low speed crawling. I was told just to not hold it full throttle for more then a second with the bigger motor tho. Or the 2 in 1 hobbywing is silent also I'm told.

No place that I'm aware of. Since we are moving to am32 for these it's not a concern, as it switches without much noise

I would absolutely run revolvers if all the esc's didn't need me to run out and purchase a laptop to program them. I don't have a laptop I'm not buying one and I literally have no use for one except to program an esc so I can run a revolver. I'm stuck with hobbywing because no laptop needed.

If you can afford a mini laptop I'd go that route much cheaper. I understand the no other uses but cheaper the better at that point just something to download program and that has USB. It's frustrating that everything is going digital with chips in them. My mother and grandparents struggle using the smart phones, I'm always helping them.

@jxz2 I actually have tablets and that crap maybe I can figure something out. I run a couple 2 in 1 pro's and really like them but there is something to be said about the outrunners weight.

I really hope built in bluetooth catches on for programming ESCs. I think ISDT's ESC has it but I hope HW and Castle follow suit. I don't want to spend another $60 on a wireless link dongle that I have to transfer between cars.

I'm a bit annoyed that they all seem to require Windows when I have three Macs. Though I wondering if running Windows in a virtual machine will work.

Our crawlmaster esc is well suited for use with our outrunners without tuning. But tuning may be needed on some, just like most escs when you want to extract the best performance.
