They used to be a well-respected brand and they innovated a lot; they even provided the base movement for the famous Breitling calibre 11. Unfortunately the company does not exist anymore...
Wonderful video!

That is a beautiful movement in such pristine condition, finding them like this NOS is so rare. What do you intend to do with the watch? If I were you, it would stay in my collection - no way would I let it go! I like your filming style, you earn one more subscriber.

Your watchmaking skills are inspiring. Your such an artist. Thanks for the silent videos. The world is to noisy as it is. Can you tells us a little bit about your background? Where were you trained? How long have you been at it? I was sorry to see that you only had two videos. I look forward to a hundred more. Keep up the great work.

Great video! Pure craftsmanship. I inherited a Buren from my grandfather. It's priceless to me, but can't seem to find the same model online to check it's value in the market. I wonder if you could help out ?

I use two types: I use an automatic and a manual oiler. Both are from Bergeon. Hope this helps!

Thanks for the subscribe! It is indeed a dummy screw, it's typical for watches this age!

Great work! I would consider to repair those rusty hands or change them because rest is in perfect condition. And missed I something or movement holder screws and clamps are missing?

Hand rust?
@MagicWatchmaking
Жыл бұрын
Hi Mike! The rust is not visible with the naked eye, but this amount of magnification is very unforgiving 😅
You have not cleaned the needles.
@MagicWatchmaking
2 жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for the feedback! I did in fact clean them, but the magnification is so great, that you can see things that are impossible to see with the naked eye. To the naked eye it looks completely fine :)
