We like watching your videos George whether you're on a walkabout, camping, reviewing knives, working with leather, modifying a knife, building a fire or fishing all is good, so the refurbishing of old knives is just extra, the last video where you broke the scales of that knife was a learning experience so is a positive occurrence, you know the knife doctor has done the same thing sol do not feel bad about it look at it like a positive result as you have created knowledge for the future plus you created a box of parts to possibly use in the future unless you decide to make scales and put it back together, sounds like fun, the only thing I see happening is creating a need for power in your shed as this part of your fun is going to maybe cause you to have to expand your power tool need

Thankyou for the support and kind words. I talk with Kevin atleastvoncevacweek...lol. He explained how he does the scakevinstall. He way smarter than me...lol. as far a power in the shed. Not sure it's earth it. The shed us small..very small and the work area is less than half. Lol.basicalky the bench. I have been looking at other options, like battrery power. Drexel has some interesting options. We will see. Till then old school sweat and blood.....lol. be safe

These are looking good . Really like the red one. My current project is a 1938 to 41 Hammer Brand single blade fish knife. Recently rehandled a 2 blade Imperial with wood from my Ash tree. Interesting project. Next will be a daddy barlow. Gotta find some flea markets if rain ever slows down. Enjoying your restoration videos. Keep them coming.

Really nice job George cleaning up those knives! I really like how you modified that one to a wharncliffe blade really cool. I have to say I totally agree with you on the one blade fishing knife the simplicity and beauty of them are really nice, I am looking for a really cool old one myself maybe western not sure just whatever that looks really special.
