Shot of love is one of my favourite Dylan albums.

I love this release because it makes all material from that time even better. Full of missed opportunities Angelina , Blind Willie McTell and of course New Danville Girl I cant for the life of me imagine what Dylan ran through when he visited Zappa that night to pitch the infidels project I think Frank would have dug Foot of Pride

Frank should have covered it in ‘88 and had the horns interject melodies based on lyrics- Danny Boy, gospel music, an Errol Flynn fanfare, Amazing Grace, a Dead Samson and Delilah quote….he could have made this a full blown Jesus Thinks You’re a Jerk spectacle.
