I briefly knew Hyejun because I happened to be on the same study abroad program at PNU, but the shorter one. I remember him being soooo in love with you and talking to you over FaceTime haha. Yesterday

I did the same program back in 2016!! Loved every moment. Now I'm grateful that its given me the opportunity to meet some of my greatest friends and work projects. Two of our Korean buddies got married this year that met back during our program.

In Los Angeles, I noticed more and more Asian guys are dating Latina now, I used to date one too(even though the experience with her was a bit not how I like it), but in general, I found Latina easier to communicate and more open minded to other cultures. Latin Americans' family dynamics are also similar to East Asian family dynamics, so I think these two groups are easier to date and have long term relationship. Currently in America, Asian guys do prefer Latina more than white/black/Asian girls(google Quartz racial preference to see the graphics and statistics). I personally prefer Latina too, Latina are more brave and if they see someone they like, they just take their chances to go talk to the guys they're interesting in, which is something I think it's special about them, this is definitely beating other girls out of the competition. So I'd encourage all Latina continue to do the same, but I'd also advise you don't be too active, just give us a hint that we can hit on you, if you're too active, you might attract some bad Asian guys who just want your body.

Question: are korean guys in general mostly momma boys, and girls are more independent masculine type? Or are korean dramas portraying wrong stereotypes? Also how difficult it was to adjust to both parents requirements and expectations?
