Probably the most stacked one with features,and way better than almost every game 2k made before and after.The attention to every detail and the hard work the devs put into the game was worth it and clearly showed.

No, it doesn't even have right stick dribbling, doesn't have rec, crew was a joke, no park etc... I own every 2k since 2k on dreamcast, some of you guys are bugging. Can't put any 2k that didn't have right stick dribbling in the conversation for best. 2k14 and 2k16 have been the best and it isn't close.

2k11 is my favorite 2k of all time. 2k13 had my favorite controls of all time

They need to make the career mode on PS5 like it was back in the 2k11 era. I loved having control over how my career played out. Being able to interview with teams, D-League (G-League), being able to have your play affect your draft stock, post game interviews where if you said the wrong things the announcers would mention it and you would get booed by the fans. If they made it like this for the next generation, while adding more to it, like picking an agent, being able to play in college, and bring the full combine, we have a dope career mode. They need to cut the fixed storylines with the movie-like cutscenes. Give us the option to make our career actually (MY)Career

Mr And your point is hell nba 2k11 is a million times better than 2k18, 2k19, and 2k20 combined the major difference is 2k11 no pay to win you have too grind your way to be better and the Jordan mode nowadays it’s just mycareer, Park, all three games are incomplete, and pay to win

2K11 brings back so many memories especially with the features

Back when shots meter wasn't broken, making shots was a beautiful thing, spacing on the floors one of the best ever, create amazing and fluid plays, no shitty VC, basically NBA 2K11 was all about basketball and why we love so much. Nostalgic. Just look at this animation and some slight realistic physics on that dunk 3:32 - 3:35... man, just someone please give us a remastered version and that's it.

i played this game for 4 years when 2k14 was out i was still playing this shit this game is the best 1 hands down

@@caydenrgarrett only thing good about 16 was park. Other than that my career was ass and nothing really made it stand out from the good 2k’s.

My most memorable 2k. The MyCareer was simplistic but the progress to get from low 40s to 99 felt worthwhile. I remember when I had an open dunk in the fast break but I bricked it. Then I got a higher dunk attribute and bam, 2k11 got even more sick.

Bruh you gotta go check out 2k12s intro if you think 11 is the best. It's hard, but 12 has so much culture and respect and expresses the beauty of the game of basketball

Nba 2k13

Always loved the way the ball went in the hoop so smooth in older 2k games. Now when you shoot the ball it bounces off the rim unnaturally.

My favourite 2K of all time is NBA 2K10 on the PS3 because the graphics are CLEAN and the animations were crazy too

In my opinion 2k11 is easily the best game of the series. Stunning gameplay, franchise mode multiplayer on one console ( so much fun), epic intro, brilliant soundtrack, no focus on stupid online features like parks, no vc bullshit.... It was just a really good game

My Mom Says I'm a Champion it’s crazy when a keyboard tough guy opens his mouth when they don’t in the real world. The point is no one talks about it or maybe the fact that it was created almost a decade ago on a different platform.

This and 2k16 will forever be legendary in the 2k community!! Such a shame that the games afterwards went downhill so quickly! Excellent work on bringing the memories back!! Road to 100k Fam!

This is the game where 2k really separated themselves for basketball games to me. The Jordan Challenge is still so hard to beat today. Like they should’ve did that challenge for Kobe.

The good ole days of 2k just popping the disc in console an just playing didn't have to worry about downloading a patch

I did the same situation mode back in 2k7! It was so fun

Smooth game play fast breaks were real and posting up into dribble was 🔥

2k11 was my fav 2k of all time with 2k5 and 2k9 being next in line. 2k13 was pretty good too but 2k11 was my go to. NBA 07 the life vol 2 was also one of my favs (mainly because Kobe was on the cover lol). My fav thing on 2k11 was doing the seasons, managing trades etc.

2k12 was personally my favorite “They’re playing basketballlllllll , we love that basketballllll” 🔥🔥🔥🔥

Best 2k hands down. Everything was fluid, smooth like butter. Then 2k12 came out.....and it just wasn’t the same since then....

Indeed this is my favorite and arguably still the best in the 2K franchise. Yes, the 2K's that came afterward also featured Jordan as well as many other classic teams and players but nothing will beat the memories and excitement of playing with the classics back when they were new and that's 2K11.

My favorite memory of 2k11 is playing myleague online or whatever it was called back then. We would have tournaments with a draft to select your roster. It felt like fantasy basketball except we got to actually play the games. The gameplay felt smooth, although there were definitely some classic exploits. I would love to play it again some day.

Fifa 09 and NBA 2k11 simply the best sports videogames ever. I remember having so much fun with this game, and specially getting 121 points with my player on my career playing for the Lakers and against the Raptors none the less haha

I can still remember the 2k insiders voice... iconic

My favorite things about 2k11: Soundtrack - all the songs were diverse and they had songs about you getting better and being a competitor MyCareer - simple and about nothing but basketball and life in the NBA Unlocking Jordans - you play, and unlock retros that have stat boosts Just some of my fav things

That said, it was the only 2K that had the correct coaches for the legendary teams....it's just NOT THE SAME without classic Phil Jackson, Rick Adleman, Jerry Sloan, etc!!

Best soundtrack in video game history

I’ve recently went back and have been playing this game… all I know, is if I leave the man I’m defending to go double someone or do anything really to move away from the player I’m supposed to guard and giving them floor space, the ai will dish it to that player for an easy basket every single time. The ai actually has a really good basketball iq, better than a lot of games I have experienced.

The best part was playing the my career as Jordan after beating the situations and grinding for the shoes to get better attributes for your player

Anyone remember how fun 2k2 was? It's not as good as 2k11 but it was simple and fun for all

Man online gameplay in the ps3/xbox360 days are undefeated

@Phantuums I would really like you to cover 2K17 and here's my reason why: At the time of it's release EVERYONE had problems with the game, now of course there were others who loved it but the majority of the community seemed to not like the game at the time and I think alot of people forget that. I want you to cover it to hear your opinion on why you think, while at the time it wasn't that good of game, why is it so appreciated and loved now.

One minor detail as well, the crowds in 2k11 are way more animated, moving through aisles, going up and down the stairs, food vendors, different people cheering at different times. These days the crowd are an Orwellian zombie, rising together and sitting together.

I remember that narrator in my career I use to hate him because of the way he criticized you after every game but it was constructive criticism that shows you that 2k was the truth in that era
