    @@KnoxzyGaming......chill out. The statistic that in 1940, only 7 percent of Germans were Nazis seems to rely on a very narrow definition of who was a Nazi. If it has any accuracy, it counts only Germans who formally joined the party, which excludes a much larger number who were supporters. An estimated number of these supporters is 6.5 million...so whats that you said about "only 7% were nazi"? That claim varys widely in the eyes of most factual discussions bringing all points to the table not just the enlisted soldiers head count.

    @marcussmith3969

    3 жыл бұрын

    I disagree the real tragedy is listening to this guy talk about things he doesn't know about. I don't care if he was there, so was I twice. Examples of his stupidity: barrel in the dirt, who cares dirt in barrel doesn't affect anything. Seriously! Any obstruction in the barrel can be catastrophic. Also when you see the 249 barrel " in the dirt", it's not in the dirt, the bipod is supporting it off the ground. The SAW, squad automatic weapon the M249. He calls the M240 as SAW. The 249 uses the same ammo as the M4. That's why the 249 can actually use an M4 mag. The 240 fires 7.62 big difference. I do agree that they do need to be moving. I wasn't there so I'm not sure why they weren't. I will admit after that I stopped watching. This guy should have just watched and not spoken.

    The Army would do it themselves if the Air Force didn't cry until they got a rule that the Army can't have fixed-wing CAS aircraft. Wars are won on the ground yet all the airforce cares about are fancy stealth fighters and high altitude bombers instead of new close support aircraft that can stay on station long enough to actually help the infantry. The Airforce shouldn't even exist, bring back the Army Air Corp.

    @GergActual

    MrMattumbo I hate to tell you that you have no idea what you’re taking about but... Wars are actually won through air superiority. Hell we defeated ISIS without putting more than SOF guys on the ground for TAA purposes. I’m not sure infantry guys would enjoy their time fighting on the ground if the USAF hadn’t secured the skies above them and the enemy were able to lay the same firepower on them. Now the runaround that the government has gotten with the F-35 shows just how big of money pits these new gen aircraft can be, but it’s necessary if we want to protect ourselves from near-peer adversaries. The A-10 just got a HEFTY service extension that will keep it in service. It does it’s job better than anything, so why rush a replacement?

All I ever wanted to do with my life was to be in the Army. I blew through the ASVAB(?) And made it to the MEPS center in Kansas City. Sadly, childhood sickness kept me from being able to enlist. Again. Thank you all. You folks are the real heroes.

    Our squad was out on QRF and a harrier buzzed us with his cannon. Rounds landed about 20 yards in front of us. Watched our gunny, who was also our platoon commander, dive into a canal that was at least 4' deep. Came up spitting out nasty ass shit water, soaked head to toe. Was the funniest and scariest part of that deployment. You know that burst could have ended it for all of us.

When it came to his turn to move-up, he advanced from my rear to my front right. He went to fire his first rounds and I watched from twenty feet away as his charging handle and bolt carrier exploded into his forehead under his helmet. Dirt in the barrel...
