Reviewing Artist Loft Gouache || Trying Gouache as a Watercolour Artist

Ойын-сауық

This is the third video I’ve made about exploring gouache as a watercolour artist, it’s a super fun medium.
This is my final review on artist loft gouache after spending a fair amount of time with it on my brushes and various watercolor papers (these include arches cotton paper and Fabriano cotton pulp blend and a mixed medium paper by Strathmore)
I do plan on continuing to explore new art mediums over the next few months so if your into that stay tuned!
Also go ahead and check out my other stuff, i have several playlists organized into the kinds of art content i make. From relaxing wordless time-lapses to vlog ish style videos where I talk about my process and thoughts.

I have never used himi, this was the first gouache set I’ve ever used. From comments on my other gouache videos it seems artist loft wanted to do a copy cat of how himi looked but I can’t say the quality is better or worse. From my understanding himi is also geared towards being affordable for students which means it’s likely less pigmented and has more binders. My guess is that they are comparable. And thank you!
