Clint why do I keep seeing you comment on out of darts videos? Ya know, a nerf or vlog channel would be cool... :)
It's VERY cool to see Worker come out with something like this - they're really hitting all the marks! This is one of my favorite blaster archetypes to come out of the community recently and it's neat to see a larger manufacturer really get it right. I can't wait to play with this thing some day - my kid who plays pretty seriously would absolutely adore one of these as well, very excited to get it in his hands.
40 "used" nightengales sounds fantastic. Go for it!
This seems like a highly competitive price point for blasters in this range
Family reunions are great. I used your mod kit on my nemesis with an upgraded hopper made from a cheese ball container at my family picnic. I can put 300 rivals in it. It also has a laser sight and a Gopro mount. Much fun.
Would love to see them release a magazine with smaller capacity so the bottom is completely flush with the hand grip.

LOVE IT! The black one you had in video was is my preorder from your shop. I can not wait till you ship. I already pre ordered the other 2 color prior to your posting but I may still need a few more for some friends. I feel like a kid waiting on Christmas🤣
Just getting into the hobby now. What a time to have bought a 3D printer! Excited for the slim mags!
Sweet little blaster. I'm looking forward to seeing people mess around with the new mags. Stuff like the Zinc could work great (in theory).
I actually just preordered this from you today I'm really looking forward to getting it in hand!
I'm really excited to recieve my Nightingale. Ordered it a bit ago off your shop. I just recently started getting into this hobby. The use of LIPO batteries really peeked my interest, since I've been using them for over a decade in my RC cars. My collection to start off with will be the Phoenix 2.0, Nightingale, Lynx and a Bulwark, and soon a NG-4 Amarok and a Worker Swift. These ones interested me the most in their looks and performance.
The new thumbnail looks amazing!
Have one coming my way too :) Really excited for what the 3d crowd is going to do with the New mags! Great Video (as always😅)
The family reunion idea sounds awesome! Also I’m really interested in this blaster, wanna pick up a high power in green.
Thanks for the great review as always! I cannot wait to get my hands on a couple of these. You should definitely take some to the reunion! All of my families get togethers are full of foam flinging action, this is why I am also out of darts 😂

Excellent content, as always. I would love to see my future Nightingale used in a video with your family.
Already pre-ordered one from you guys 👌
Bah, I meant to order before you posted this, hope they're still there when I get home tonight.
Love the sci-fi style, look forward to body mods to make it look more spaaaaaace
Great vid as always ;) I assume your FPS results were from revving then firing, and if so, what was the average FPS / was there much FPS drop when rapid firing?
Yes yes I was wainting for this video so long
I would love to go to work one day, and pass out blasters and proclaim, "the zombies will here any second.!... Prepare yourself.! If you want to call a loved one, do it now, make peace with your Maker.!" I think it would be an excellent idea to bring a bunch of those blasters to a family reunion, like people used to with Mavericks.!
Yess, I'm glad you're changing your thumbnail style
Worker saw Dartzone and the Homebrew crowds jogging and they set off sprinting.
Worker is just knocking it out left and right! The leash might be helpful to keep the blaster attached just in case it pops out of the holster (and you happen to not notice) while you're running; making sure you don't run off without your sidearm.
This is so friggin cool :,) I want one! I hope I can find some store that ships these to Europe this summer, bc I really want to get my hands on one.
omg im totally getting a bunch of the low power's for my nephews this christmas
I was considering trying to mod a Worker Hurricane to be a decent side arm pistol, but I think I'll go with the nightingale instead. Much simpler to work with at this point
Defenitely would like to see that family reunion battle happen!
I just got one on Etsy for $55! Can’t wait!
I’m wondering if this would fit inside a Rebelle Secretshot shell? Maybe if you shortened the grip. It would make an awesome secret secondary blaster.
A great option for a belt attachment IMO would be a short rail above the grip on either side of the blaster that could slide into a rail slot on your belt with a nub on it to click into place securely like on NERF rails. this could allow someone to have a blaster on either their right or left hip with the unused rail usable for a site or light attachment. how does this blaster and other sidearms not have something like that already, sure the magnet thing is good but a rail style holster might be more appealing to some. I definitely think it would be a better option than what the Nightingale employs here in this video.
Gonna have to pick one of these up sometime
Good job on the hardware in Jimmy Kimmel Live! I would love to see a tutorial on how to make one of those.
It looks very cool. Good video!
I get that your a privately owned company, but have you ever considered a joint project with worker? You could make a series of blasters. A primary,secondary, and an add on. And this series could focus on being inter changeable, and customizable.
Huh, that was an interesting holstering idea. Gives me an idea for the dvz concept pistol with it's moveable slide. I just might have to buy the files to edit the middle and give it a little lip and on the trigger and under the barrel and design a holster for a battle belt around that...

you should do the 40 blasters at the reunion
what about a stock or barrel for the little rocket family, because i think that would be interesting.
Have a different cage would allow people to use other after market motors. The leash might be meant to keep from losing it if it bounces out of your little freebie holster
would the smaller flywheel make the spinup time lower also? so you can pick out full power follow up shots better.
Oh please do a video of a big game and give us a chance to get the used version too... huge bonus!!

I want to see that family reunion footage!
Time for a wild blaster show down with the fam 😎
For purposes like hvz, does spam firing it have any reliable problems. For example I often have issues with magpies or desert pigeons reliably firing a dart (often with the pusher not quite pushing the dart far enough to get the dart through the flywheels).
Bought one at foam con and i just ordered a battery for it from u guys i hope i understand all the lipo info correctly but im gunna keep studying that stuff. Also how can you tell if you have a high power or low power one? I bought it at foam con and i dont think the worker box saids it. Ill probably have to chrono huh..
I’m wondering if you could make the worker Nightingale full auto? Considering you redo the firing mechanism.

do they make a version without high crush?

A Family reunion video would be cool
On the "whole new flywheel type", wasn't there a person called like "flywheel the world" or something that was making tiny flywheels first? Regardless, super cool blaster, great vid on it
I feel like I must be the one oddball out there that wishes that a 110 fps version was an actual option, since my local HvZ has an fps cap of 120 so I wouldn't be able to use the properly 120~125fps version. Oh well though, I guess I'll settle for the 90fps version for now though and hope that maybe in the future the custom cage along with alternative motors might end up landing it back in that 110 range. The biggest loss really is that in some other showcases of the blaster I've seen online it looks like the 90fps version has a slower rev speed, meaning a longer delay between pulling the trigger and firing if you don't pre-rev, which is very saddening. That instant point and click firing looks *very* fun for HvZ, but I guess near-instant will have to be good enough for now.
I am REALLY curious about that mini talon-angled talon compatibility. You mention it just needing a different catch to hold it in place, right? If so, then it'll be a lot easier for the hobby to make compatible catches that could be fitted into existing blasters than it would be to make entirely new magwells.
@outofdarts
2 жыл бұрын
Yeah! they kept the same full-sized angled talon catch in the back, which makes it seem like most older blasters could easily be adapted to be compatible. The true test, though, will be to see who designs around this smaller magwell specifically. The Gecko especially would be much more comfortable if they slimmed up the grip a bit.

Can a barrel protrude out beyond the muzzle? I'm wondering if you can attach a T238 Tracer Unit to the Worker Nightingale.
@TytonidaeIndustries
Жыл бұрын
the current muzzel is easily replaceable, and they sell a metal version, so i see no reason you couldn't design a muzzle to accept tracer units and bearing scars
When will the hobby decide on a half length magazine? There’s slanted half dart mags, straight mags, and now these. Plus there’s diffrent sizes. I wish the hobby could come together and actualy make some standardization in terms of half length darts and mags. Additionally, I believe these new mags could fit in pouches designed for 9mm glock mags, or a similar sized magazine
@marcusborderlands6177
2 жыл бұрын
The reason they haven't decided, is that different mags fit different needs. Slanted mags don't look as good as straight mags, and don't fit as well in some blasters. It's all give and take. Plus the new slanted mags are an improvement, encompassing lots of little lessons learned from the old mags. It's an interactive process.
@guh3805
2 жыл бұрын
angled is mainly only used for when the mag goes in the pistol grip, but besides that most straight half length are the talon design. Some blasters are katana only however not as much.
@TytonidaeIndustries

@@guh3805 exactly, the angled mags are great for more ergonomic mag in grip setups, but are still fairly chunky, hence the nightengale mags, but the over all standard seams to be Talons its mostly pistols and certain designers being contrary that are causing most of the proprietary mags

Quick Question, Do you know if there be additional capacity mags developed for this blaster, like a 18-22 round mag or what about a 6 round mag where the mag BARELY sticks out from the grip allowing for a more compact and easier initial pull from a holster or such? =/ I'm REALLY considering buying a 120FPS Nightingale! =D Thx in advance for a response. =)

the 15 round mags actually barely protrude from the grip, its still very holsterable with them and in my opinion looks better than a flush mag might, but i can see how the longer mag could be an issue depending on your gear and setup
@bigemugamer
Жыл бұрын
@@TytonidaeIndustries "15 round mags actually barely protrude from the grip" 1:52 15 round mag sticks out ALMOST as far as the handle like... 2 inches. Sir... you and I have vastly different ideas as to what "barely protrude" means. you think 2 inches is barely protruding, to me, 2 centimetres is barely protruding and i would love a less than 15 round mag to get 2 centimetres of barely protruding even if it were only 6 rounds, AFTER i run out of main ammo and pull the nightengale and blast 6 zombies in the kill zone, i slap two 15 (or larger) round mags connected together so i can constantly fill the upside down mag while firing the inserted mag... flip when empty, repeat ;) And for barely protruding, I'm talking about a small secondary sidearm for the initial draw then using larger mags next. my main blasters have 22 round banana mags clipped together inverted lol I don't mind protrusion in my main blaster, looks a tad ridiculous but efficient, "fill the upside down mag while firing the inserted mag... flip when empty, repeat :)" Also, at 0:25 they display 3 mags but it looks like only the middle one is for the nightengale... Ya, they WILL obviously sell different size mags... obviously. (maybe eve a drum mag =D)

@outofdarts
10 ай бұрын
For the Nightingale, we recommend a 3s XT-30 LiPo like the 450mAh we sell on the shop. Currently, it's out of stock, but we should be getting a shipment in soon. We wouldn't recommend a pack much larger than this one because it's more difficult to install with a voltage alarm. outofdarts.com/products/tattu-micro-450mah-75c-3s-lipo-pack-xt-30
What internals did they change between the normal and pro nightingales?
@outofdarts

The main difference is flywheel motor and crush. The higher powered Nightingale has neodymium motors that spin at a higher RPM, and the flywheels contact the dart a little bit more.
One of these I may have to pick up, though as I'm in the UK not from yourselves. I would if I could. Excellent review as always, but I'm a little confused, you used millimeters and said 'by accident' not 'on accident', you're not secretly British? 😉
