@jorgeandrescoppiano.5715 it' fairly subjective, but to me, lively or responsive is the opposite of muted or dead feeling. When a string is responsive, the stringbed is transmitting more sensations to my hand, like I can feel the strings pocketing the ball and sending it back out. As opposed to "deader" strings that just feel like a board.

I just bought 2 Blade100V9 rackets and this review pretty much sums up my thoughts. I demo-ed this frame with the Yonex Vcore 100, Speed MP L (light version to be a platform for customization) and Yonex Percept 100. I liked the Blade100V9 the best. I am coming from a Wilson PS97 and wanted a little bigger head with more spin potential and the Blade100V9 was the best of the frames I demo-ed. The Speed MP 100 L was my next best option. I thought both Yonex frames were good too but they didn't have the soft feel and control of the Blade100 or the Speed MP L. I have tried a few 100 inch frames in the past but the Blade100v9 is the first one that I felt had the feel of a control racket with just a touch more spin and power. I am 67 years young and currently play USTA 4.0 but played 4.5 and a little 5.0 when younger. Try it, you'll like it.

I went to the store with my mind towards PS 97L. But end up with Blade 100 because of the green color. I tried PS 100L 10 years ago where it had white-red color and that racket gave me the best feeling when I touch the ball comparing to Speed Elite 100 at that time. I hope I will enjoy my purchase Blade 100

Nice review lads. I use an Ezone 100, I agree forgiveness equals control for me, I struggle with Ezone 98 for launch angle and hitting the sweet spot consistently enough to not hit a lot of net shots. Blade 100 or Percept 100 are on my radar for a potential racquet switch so appreciate your review. I didn’t like the Speed MP, not enough power, manueverability and spin and I didn’t like the feel (Graphene 360+) so interesting to see if the Blade 100 can tick off all the boxes. I like a stiffer feeling racquet, so hopefully it’s not a wet noodle feel like the Clash. Thanks for your reviews, I’m also keen to try the Restring Sync.

Blade 100 doesn't have more power than Speed Mp, I suggest you use a different string (more power oriented) if you need added power with Blade. Blade definetely is more of a noodle compared to Speed MP and Ezone! I do prefer the feeling of a Blade compared to Ezone 98 though :).

Nice review. Hit with the 100 v8 recently and was similarly impressed, coming from the 98 v8. Not much less precise, just as fast through the air - just bigger sweet spot. Swing weight is the real issue, very underpowered (around 314sw per spec). Q: how does the V9 compare to the v8 100. Increased power? Significant enough to upgrade / switch? Cheers! Ps - when will we see reels of restring in store??? 🙏

From my experience Blade has more comfort (softer feeling) but Speed MP feels comfortable too, just slightly stiffer feeling upon compact but by no means harsh! I felt Blade 100 has slightly better control, Spin wise it is similar, they do go through all of that in this review though: kzread.info/dash/bejne/e6R30LWFp7Hefrg.html

I would be very interested in a comparison between the Blade 100 and Speed MP, one or the other will be my new racquet for 2024. I have already tested both, unfortunately not at the same time and with the same string. The biggest difference for me was the higher swing weight of the MP, with the associated advantages and disadvantages. For me, the MP has a longer dwell time, a little more spin potential and less control. The Blade 100 does not have an exceptionally high spin potential for me, but just the right amount. Overall, the Blade has a good blend of power, control, spin, maneuverability and stability. Currently, the Blade is ahead for me, but tomorrow I will test the Speed again.

How do you compare the comfort between the Blade 100 and Speed MP? On paper, both rackets have a stiffness rating of 60 RA but the stiffness/comfort level of the racket can only be evaluated from actual play.

Both are on the comfortable side for me, but the Speed MP was ahead in this category. The Blade feels a little stiffer. But this is actually a positive thing for me, as I got more feedback from the Blade. But my impression could also be influenced by the different string jobs.
