Some people on Reddit r/wma have pointed out, that the collar-bone area lacks proper protection. I missed that weakness of the jacket, since my mask-overlay (SPES Trinity Pro) also protects this area very well.
After 8 months of usage in sparring, I wanted to give a short review on my costum-made 800N AP Light fencing jacket from SPES.
800N means, that the fabric is puncture resistance up to that amount of force.

Thanks for the review! Im looking into getting one soon. Ive always used PBT's internal gorget with collarbone protection, internal plastic chest protector and my fencing pants sit at the waist and cover the hip bone with padding. Im even thinking on discarding the foam inserts completely as they might be redundant alongside an internal plastic chest protector. Do you think these ideas might fix the issues you've found? Also, do you know if the tricep area is better protected than the other AP Light model? Cheers!
