The graphics on the containers is great. The lack of door details is a little disappointing.

Nice video, like always. Also I was always amazed by the US way of stacking containers. If You do like that here in Europe, after a mile of so You would smash a bridge or a tunnel :)

Im lucky i was able to get one of the cancer awareness well cars! Apparently they made a very small amount of them.

I call the blue container Via Rapido, because the blue, yellow lines and lettering are same as Via Rail old lettering and paint scheme on their passenger cars.

Could be heaters or refrigerator

We got Rapido train ho scale 53ft well car. From credit Valley railway. Cost $59.95can.

They didn't end up being random, TTX ones all got Santa Fe and JB Hunt containers, CP ones got CN and CP containers. Some of the CN and CP containers were reefers. Dealers never got any notice of the pink ones they were just announced on the site when they started shipping. I found out about them from a customer (who really wanted one but never got one). Seems like they could have raised a lot more money with those had they given us the chance to order them and then produced that many. Neat idea but I think could have been done better.

Nice well car but what about a articulated 3 unit 53' and 5 unit 40' NSC car? Walthers has the 53' 3 unit draw bar car. Maybe they will reveal one at Trainfest????

Maybe it is the light in the room. But, the yellow looks to pale for the first car you looked at. These have a darker yellow hue to them in real life.

Why would a container have 'air conditioners'? Do you mean 'refridgerator (reefer) units?

I find it interesting BNSF still has containers with the old Santa Fe logo. I collect modern containers but only have about 4 well cars because of space and because they are rather fragile. Which leads to my question of how fragile are these?

James i was wondering if you can find out something for me. Why is it that athearn doesn't make passenger cars with lighted interiors or lighting kits for them. I own a set of bombardier cars with an f59phi metrolink engine. If you know of a company that does , that is track powered please let me know. Thanks in advance.

im not aware of a company that does. I have used Rapido's easy peasy lighting for some cars but those are battery powered.

Containers manufactured by any maker should fit right on the freight cars.

I also wish Susan G Komen and others who do things like these pink rail cars would add blue to the pink. Blue would represent mens breast cancer. When u see pink and breast cancer u think women.
