No sir, this is an artificial leather/composite cover. Real NBA balls use genuine leather and are sold for about $200 USD. If you want a good ball that uses the same leather as NBA balls try the Spalding tf model m, it’s $150 USD. Mind you leather balls take awhile to break in.
