Well, that is a great review. And I'm a little jealous because though I bought the 200 model, which had a bigger engine & seats, yours comes with some features I'm gonna have to add... like the blinkers, hitch and speedometer. We absolutely love ours and use it to maintain trails at a nonprofit campground. I also bought it for my disabled son to learn to drive in before I put him behind the wheel of a pickup truck. Frankly, I was really worried that he would be able to do dangerous things like jumps and drifting and stuff like that. But it's not made for that stuff. It feels fast but it's really too slow and heavy to get airborne and that makes me feel a lot safer having him behind the wheel patrolling grounds while i'm clearing trails. Incidentally, I bought a big heavy duty tool bag about as wide as the luggage rack.

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I bet the 200 is a blast. The 150 is great for riding around campgrounds as well.

This is the best review video I have seen of one these off road go karts. You actually put the trailer hitch to use towing a boat, I see a lot of people talk about the hitch, but no footage and nice showing it in the truck which shows how it can easily be hauled and shows the size and with firewood on the rack which gives an idea of how much the rack holds. This seems like a great alternative to a more expensive atv and also safer with roll cage and lower center of gravity which makes it less likely to turn over. All around great video and I will share it. New subscriber. Watched the entire video and pressed the like button.👍☺

Hello again, I'm thinking about buying this go kart or the Trailmaster XRS this spring, or getting one for Christmas. Is the chain heavy-duty or does it break a lot? Are there any issues with the clutch and/or engine? How do you tighten the chain? Is this go kart high quality and are there any issues with it?

I'm glad to hear that. -- I had seen a video where a guy was riding it on the street and it looked like it was doing great. -- But later I saw another video with a guy riding it on the ground and he turned it over on it's left side. He injured his head since he didn't have a helmet on. But not a hospital injury. ---- So he tried to explain the accident and it looked like he was blaming it somewhat on a tree root he hit. --- I was stunned because when I had a go kart when I was around 15 years old -- I couldn't turn it over because it was low to the ground. --- But if I get a Trailmaster, I would be riding it on the street. -- So I don't want something that's easy to trum over. -- Thanks for your reply. -- Let me know if you have anything to add.

  • @dualsportadventure4040

@@jackdraper2849in the right situation, you can turn anything over. On the Trailmaster, the front wheels are spaced wider apart then the rear wheels to aid in stability. The hardest thing to get used to it’s difficult to use your right foot to brake with so you end up braking with your left and accelerating with your right foot. Over all it’s a very fun cart.

Ok -- Thank you for your response and info. -- Every little bit helps.-- I live in Nashville, Tn and haven't yet found anyone that has one here. So all of my looking so far has been onlne. -- If I'm going to shell out close to $3,000 -- I would like feel that I've made an intelligent decision. -- I'm going to guess that you probably checked out some other brands of Go Karts before you purchased yours. Thanks again ! -- I appreciate it. -- And I did enjoy your video !

@@dualsportadventure4040 Thank you for your reply. I understand busy....Hang in there. Lil more for ya Do the above, add a 4, 6, 8 or 12° offset key in the flywheel to advance the timing and an autolite plug 39something they're colder and work with the hop ups. If you keep the clone carb you can take the throttle linkage and govenor spring off. Leave the gear on in the case and just hook a spring to the... blower housing a close hole or bolt. If you do the gov delete you have to change the flywheel (aka spinning fragmentation grenade 2 feet from your head). I suggest to get a grenade proof cast iron flywheel around $75 v 120+ for Billet Aluminum, that is the go to, but...I, and I think you will too, like that mass. It keeps the rpms up when you decelerate and takes less time to get back into the power band coming out of a corner. It also engine brakes much better. I've heard the Chinese knock offs mikuni work and at a 1/3 of a 22 or 27 Mikuni. I've also heard the threads for the main and pilot jet may be different factory to factory. I'm not sure. I didn't expect a reply and wanted to give you complete info as I'm capable of. Thanks I 'scribed / liked you video.
