Looks fun, I respect a guy that knows his way around his shop, knows where everything is placed, same with me my wife or kids will ask if they can barrow “that thingy that goes like this and it’s red, you know” and without gets up “yes in the red toolbox in the drawer marked M for metric, and put it back” I worked with a guy who’s kids both race mini sprints and I always wanted to build a two seater that the drivers seat is adjustable back and forward, E-brake between the seats, disc brakes, racing slicks and a motor with some power not shifter cart power but not a carnival ride motor either
This man has everything in that shop I wish I had all of that stuff
I’m glad I found this, as I bought an old, modified, used version of this for cheap and I wanted to restore it to its original form. You can tell the roll cage was sawed off on mine.

Replace it if you plan on using belts, ask any old timer they won't put belts in a cart without a roll bar. You will break bones when you crash if you strap in, I know 2 people broken back and neck from similar carts. They are fun just wear a helmet and have fun
I love the fact that the builder of this machine has a warehouse of parts to pick from all organized just waiting to be used. I don't recall seeing him put brakes on it and I'm curious as to the actual top speed of the kart. Very well done video Thanks, great job.

A tip, spin your mount 90 deg and make the engine mounting holes oblong by about 3/4 of and inch so you can tighten your chain after it stretches after a few weeks of riding. By having oblong mounts it allows for some play instead of having to get the spacing perfect or having to redial your holes.
