I love your enthusiasm. I have the same thin hair as you...perhaps even thinner. Unfortunately, I can't make a wig work, since my forehead is really short...like Melissa Tomai. I have been powdering my hair for a few years, and have gotten better at it carefully tapping the bottom of the container close to my head and parting my scalp. It hurts to see my scalp, especially when the sun shines on it, or my hair becomes transparent with a light behind it. I'm am really really so sad about it....sob

Shell By The Sea Lace front wigs look pretty realistic. You could try out a synthetic one.
