If you take it apart, it's just a jolt sitting under the hopper that's activated with a motor. Some incredible engineering has gone into it.

I think that rival mags could still be used with this as speedloaders of sorts. Hold them over the hopper opening and pull back the ball retention tab

Hey Coop you can hold rival magazines on you and then the release the rounds into the hopper of the Nemisis.

I remember when the Stampede came out and everyone wanted one because it was the first battery operated full auto blaster. Now we have blasters like the Nemesis that put the Stampede's RoF to shame.

Just got one. Can't wait to use it...

I own one of these blasters myself. The only problem with it is the pickup... I have found balls almost everywhere in my house even though I only shoot in 1 room. I had to go on a full scavenger hunt only to find the there are still 25 balls missing in the house. Other than that, this is an amazing purchase and will help in the competitive world. I would recommend this blaster any day. If you are lazy and dont like to pick up afterwards, this might not be the blaster for you.

I have a feeling that the nemesis is gonna be coops number 1 for top 5 nerf blasters for Christmas 2017.

Hey Coop, just purchased one of these beasts at a Toys R Us (I'm a Canadian). I find however I'm getting significantly lower performance than you demonstrate with your Nemesi, particularly with the alkaline one. I find I'm shooting this thing at full auto with a very significant drop off from the balls. I'll stand close to 15-20ft away from a target (overkill, but I live in a cramped house with little space), and I'm already seeing the balls drop off around 10ft or less. I also notice however this only happens in full auto. Burst firing seems to help, but you can still hear the flywheels struggle to maintain power. Single firing it will undoubtedly reach full impact, but I really shouldn't be seeing performance this severely lacking. I can only assume it's and issue with the flywheels that are preventing the gun from firing as effectively as you show in your vids. Would you recommend I return it, or do you think the battery pack would resolve this issue?

the rechargeable battery pack will lighten up the blaster a little bit and a slight performance boost . it does not come with the nemesis , so you're gonna have to spend more. coop said that on the 4:31 mark.

@@johnshepherd6925 As other folks pointed out, the rechargeable battery pack does resolve this issue. Not sure if they’re still sold nowadays, but after installing the battery pack I saw the same performance that Coop claimed in this video.

This would be a REALLY good Heavy-class weapon. High capacity, high rate of fire, easily infinite ammo due to hopper, almost OP. To balance that, the hopper is imperfect, so there will be the occasional brief 1-second break between firing. Perfect opportunity for people being pinned down to pop out and take out the Heavy. Rival is a triumph.

@Austin Su thats cool and that's a good reason but I'd rather use the prometheus since it suits my playstyle more and in my local nerf wars we have three health so close range I can basically eliminate them in a THIRD of a second plus in my testing the prometheus shoots farther

This is great, it’s like paintball inside.

Rival rounds are my personal favorite ammo type to this day. I prefer it to half darts and full length darts except for magazine fed blasters. But for for springers or hopper fed blasters rival rounds are the best!
