Something to note about this blaster. When you load a loaded magazine, it will auto chamber one ball. If you pull the magazine out, the ball will remain in there, unable to be fired because there's no magazine in, and if you put the magazine in again, it will attempt to chamber another ball, potentially jamming it up. Be sure to only load magazines if you're ready to play with it.

The grip has to be fat to fix the magazine, Nerf didn't have to put it there.

I think that they changed the color of this blaster so you don’t have to buy both color blasters to indicate teams. Those blasters are pretty expensive and most people would not want two of the same blaster just so they could be team flexible.

Just bought the hera and tried it out a few times....very happy with it. I also have the Nemesis but I decided to buy this one because I can use the Nerf Batteries I bought for the Nemesis. Also because I like the Phantom Corps color scheme. Strong shooting power, not that shy of the Nemesis.

The Reloading with the Apollo, Helios and Hera are satisfying to Watch.

Here in Sweden they haven't even released the nemesis 😕

Hasbro's keeping the Rival stick mag alive with this Target exclusive. Little unfortunate that retail exclusive results in it being a bit overpriced, but for those who seem to have a complaint about everything in the Rival line, this is sure to hit the Goldilocks zone for some.

7:52 I re-worked a Zeus that I got from Goodwill to eject the magazine a little bit so then I could just grab it without having to fumble with it on both sides. I mainly did this because I tried designing it so it felt like the Cordite from COD.

Excellent review, it is a fantastic Nerf gun. A note on the Phantom Corps Apollo other than coming with the two flags and 12 round magazine, the have also added a primer release switch for dealing with jams.

I also feel the Grip is just a little too bulky, but I love it. Great video Mr. Coop!

Note for the cost: The Phantom Apollo comes with a 12-rounds mag while the regular one comes with a 7-rounds mag. That partially explains the price.

Got to play with one of these yesterday. Its amazing.

I like the ergonomics of the Zeus, but I wish it had a reload system like the Hera--it would be so much easier!

this would actually work great akimbo the mag catch is large enough that you could pull it out while holding another hera reloading would take a bit of time but imagine how cool it would look

I feel like Phantom Corps is like a mercenary group that can use deception (hence the Phantom name) by keeping their team tag out of sight in order to strike enemies who may think it's an ally. And the higher price is some tax on either their independence from the core teams or their special deception ability.

Hera Pros: -Almost objectively better thanks to the flywheel system. -More viable for "serious" games. -Fires faster Hera Cons: -Loud, especially with the rechargeable pack -The rechargeable pack is almost mandatory to save on battery costs. -Might be "too good" for casual people who just want to mess around with friends Helios pros: -Quieter because it's a spring system -Each round "feels" more powerful since it fires slower -Able to have a shot ready to fire at all times. -Can be dual-weilded for a cost similar to the Hera plus the battery pack Cons: -Priming the blaster can get tiring -Might get outgunned by flywheel blasters or more "effective" spring blasters

The PC Apollo comes with a 12-round mag as opposed to the 7-round the original Apollos came with. Not worth 10 extra bucks in my opinion but there is a reason for the price hop-up besides the paint job.

In his house, he has the Ghost Pro perk. Cannot be spotted, even by thermal sights, choppers, Spy Planes, Blackbirds and even attack dogs !

I love rival but they’re just super rare on the shelves I don’t find them too often I only see rival ones which I saw a finisher at target

I had a kind of weird jamming issue with the gun where if you try to pull out the magazine it would get stuck in the thing would have to bang on it a bunch to get it out
