The most common issue with Face ID is often attributed to the dot projector, also referred to as the Lattice. In iOS, it is recognized as the TrueDepth Camera. If you see the error is saying TrueDepth camera is failed, then high chance it's the dot projector failed.
In this video, I will be reviewing a repair kit from MiJing. Unlike previous methods, this repair technique eliminates the need for any soldering. It is designed to be beginner-friendly, making it accessible to those with limited experience.

If you’re saying dot projector, no. The part itself is encrypted and paired with motherboard.

@@iPhoneServiceMalaysia Sir, I live in Sri Lanka. It is very difficult for a phone repair student in such a country to buy a JBC Soldering Station, even original JBC Tip. That's why sir's low cost options are very valuable. So please think about it and help us. Thank you.
Why does it fail in the first place? if the tag on flex can fool the software doesn’t that mean the dor projector is not bad? or the dot projector is not needed for face id?
