This lil thing pumps out a lot of cold air. Time will tell about durability but it seems LG makes reliable products. Feels like at least an 8k BTU unit; blows air forcefully. If using a fan it will cool two rooms. At price point it was an incredible purchase. Unit is a bit loud with white noise but we like that for sleep purposes. Cabinet surrounding unit is build well and doesn't creak or make nvh. Isn't energy star certified so might be a bit of an energy hog but who knows? Buy it anyway it's hot and heat unalives everything
