I use a brass wool for my soldering station, and there’s almost no performance difference from day one, and I use the same tip for over 3 years now and I do soldering almost daily, still works well, even the solder tip still looks good. So just use brass wool, instead of wet sponge or tissue

Yep it's true, using Sugon and Xsoldering tips. not bad to be honest but the issue is the tip is not well calibrated same as the original JBC. Thanks for the video master save my time and my money !

The best cheap JBC 245 compatible soldering station would definitely be the AIXUN T3A. I just picked one up yesterday for $105 + shipping and it comes with 3 tips, has 200w max output and a very nice color display. It heats c245 JBC tips to 380'c in only 4 seconds.

Knife type of tips must needed. But depends on your budget... myself is use original JBC tips. Those students are use compatible to saving my cost.

First my soldering iron hako FX 951 set I was not happy because it keep breaking pads of mother board so I bought JBC NACE 1 $1400 I am very satisfied since I never broke any single pad of mother board but tips are very expensive

The size. I don’t recommend c115, it’s too small and more expensive. But it’s good for broken flex repair.

Im thinking about to buy a JBC compack station but I dont know if take CD-S or CD-B. Does the 140W (CD-B) works to do micro soldering like CD-S? I only can afford one of these. Maybe I could buy CD-S then buy a cheap JBC soldering iron to make the laptop works. But how about when I need to do reballing on a PS4 CPU?? I'm undecided

abt performance between S and B. They are suffice for console repairing. Because sometime I repaired some graphic card, it still can handle.

@@ars1crea they are exactly the same station. The only difference is its handle. The S one come with t210 and B come with T245. However you could use T245 on the S and vice versa since they're the same station.

T210 refers to the handle. C210 refers to the cartridges (tips) for the handle.

Bro the jbc tip i got from here for sugon is much better than your real jbc tip even its more small than this and have better shape than your original jbc tip

I’ve got the xsoldering station pro which works really really well with original tips and the advantage is colour screen and 2 handles c245 handle and c210 handle , and the price was really good £139 with no tips , I bought 3 xsoldering c210 tips and they are poor quality , the temperature is not stable as it will never stay on the set temperature and will keep going up and down every second and the sensor in the tip is bad quality bcuz if I set it to 350 and check the real temp and it’s actually around 385 so it’s not accurate at all, with original jbc tips the temperature is near enough spot on , just a 1-2 degrees off which is normal , another problem is china only manufacture 3 different c210 tips , one knife tip which is ok and a fine straight tip and a curved fine tip but quality is poor as the straight tip got bent just by cleaning it , I presume all of the china ones are poor quality for the c210 but I’m waiting for my c245 china tips to be delivered which hopefully should be better,and best to buy genuine jbc, another thing about the xsoldering pro, it’s not esd safe but inside the station there is extra pins and the wiring in the iron has a spare wire going to the tip, I modified it to make it esd safe but now the station doesn’t go into sleep mode so need to find a work around for that

Don’t ever buy those replica tips for your jbc station. Buy only jbc original tip. Trust me

Buy only real Jbc tips. It’s worth the extra money every single time.
