Thanks for your great videos. I am searching a not to demanding control racquet (around 300gr). How would you compare it to the Prestige MPL? I tested the MP and found it too light, and the Tour strangely a bit tiring on my arm (after more than an hour training).. Wish you a Great New Year!

Can you guys test the RA ON THE gravity mp and the lite version...head claims the lite has more power but 15 less grams n same beam width...can you play test them if possible ..like heads mp lite auxetic versions...lot of us looking for lite rackets in heads auxetics. Prestige and gravity mp lites are powerful n control rackets...maybe a review?

Nice video (as usual). I'd love to see the gravity tour compared with the yonex percept 100D and pure strike 100 16x20. Essentially the 3 have same static weight and head size, low-ish stiffness but 3 different string patterns.

I always enjoy your balanced reviews. QQ> I own a Gravity Pro which i like but its a little harder in singles. Im thinking about the Tour, how does it play compared to the Pro?

Thank you for the video. And how about just adding some weight to the MP? Wouldn't that give it more control and make it more stable like the Tour + being more spin friendly than Tour due to 16x20?

Hello, nice video, which racket is better for strong beginners? I've been playing for 2 years and my strong blow is the right-hand blows from the bottom of the track. My hit is flat and strong but I miss some balls because I have a lot of strength but I can't speed the racket to lift enough. Which racket can be better the Gravity Mp or the Gravity tour? Thanks

We prefer the Tour over the MP but both should offer the control you’re after

The Auxetic has been a fantastic addition and both rackets benefit from it. We all prefer the new frame - and that can be said across the whole HEAD range to be honest

I've been demoing the "old" Garavity MP and the Yonex Vcore Pro 100. I preferred the Yonex. Should I go for it or wait for the Gravity Auxetic?

  • @rich.e

I used to have the Gravity MP and when I subsequently demoed the VCore Pro 100, like you I thought the Yonex was the better racquet. Auxetic definitely does something though (I have 2022 Speed MPs now) so I would wait to try the new Gravity first.

@@rich.e I tested the Ezone 98 Tour 2022, but I went back to the Gravity Tour Auxetic, since the Ezone was too heavy for me and I had elbow and shoulder discomfort from the Ezone, which I never had with the Gravity. That might be due to the higher weight.

Do you think the new gravity is a good racquet for doubles?, I current use a Head speed Mp and seems really similar I guess. Not sure would be better . Thanks

Sorry in the delay getting back to you! It's difficult it would be better for doubles than another racket as it largely depends on your style of play amongst other things. Both new versions of these rackets have increased stability due to the Auxetic added so should feel better volleying, which in turn may be a help for your doubles

Given the extra flexibility, we’d say the Head rackets are more manoeuvrable in this case

The Ezone is going to give you easier access to power and is more forgiving so this may be preferable, but if you favour precision (like a Pro Staff) then the VCORE Pro is the one to go for.

Just as I mentioned above, I had elbow and shoulder pain/discomfort from the Ezone 98, so I went back to the Gravity Tour. Apparently it looks that quite a number of people had this complaint on the Ezone 98. I have never read such issues with the Vcore though. The best would be to demo those racquets, if you can. Also the grip shape is a lot different on those two brands, so it would be the best to try which one suits you better.

I’ve played ezone 98, gravity tour (2023) and also de vcore pro 100. Control/stabilty wise the gravity was the best of all, I could swing very aggresive with it without losing control or hitting out, I really loved it. Ezone 98 also gave me arm/shoulder issues and for me it felt too unstable. There’s is a lot of free power in the ezone, but I’m a ‘big’ hitter from mysels and tend to swing big, so I too like control oriëntated rackets. I also really liked the vcore 100 , but for me the gravity has more plow trough and is the most stable of the 3. Especially on volley’s I liked the gravity more. But in the end there is nothing better than demoing the different frames.

Im a 3.0 -3.5 player (playing for 2,5 years, once a week just with a friend - no competitive yet). 33year old male. I like to hit big from the baseline more, than rushing through the net. I’m trying to play with spin but I’m not the best spin player of my technique. So if I try to hit winners, I often shoot em too flat and they are going too long - out. I’m actually playing the 2023 head extreme mp, because I thought „if I’m not good enough to generate spin with a good technique, maybe the extreme mp can help me with it. But now I’m thinking, maybe I need a more control friendly racket. I’m thinking of the speed or the gravity line. But I don’t know which is better for me and which model i should take (MP, Tour, Pro of gravity or speed) What do you suggest me to get?

Hard to say - I really like the gravity tour for flatter hitters. For a whippier quicker swing the speed MP is a good option.
