Review Godox XPro vs X2T - Which trigger to choose
Godox offers two basic trigger types: The XPro type and the X2T type. So the question is which one to go with. From my perspective the answer is quite simple and straight forward as I will explain in this video.

and sad enough the new x-nano has the x-pro angle of view
great video. I never gave that viewpoint a consideration as I decide between them.

I had the X1T first and bought the xpro because it looked cooler 😀 then after the first shoot with camera on tripod I never used it again
hey! have you worked with sony cameras and the godox flashes? do you find the flash stops going flashing for whatever reason, and also have you use the godox v860III? i find the flash is so strong even at 1/256 which i can only access by going on STEP in the the x2t configurations, but still shoots too strong of a flash? thank you!

Hi, I only used Sony cameras so I got experience with the Sony A6000, A7iii, A7c. The important thing with Sony cameras is to switch off electronic first curtain so that both curtains of your shutter are mechanically, otherwise you will get a lot of misfires. When this is done I usually got between 2 out of 100 flashes or less not firing. In some locations I had some issues but I think this was due to some interference. Concerning flash power at 1/256 it should be fine. Are you using softboxes or direct flash? When I did portraits with using two 80cm square softboxes about one meter away from my subject I had the two TT885 at about 1/8 with ISO 200 and f7.1. The v860III I never used, the closest to that flash would be my V1 I got.
On my x2T I can change power of flash but it’s not coming back on my godox 600 the power stays the same

Are the channel and group and ID settings correct?

The x2T S do I need to fire off on trigger for the strobe to set in the settings

@@joeybailey9628 usually not, as soon as you move the wheel on the trigger the values on the strobe should move too but sometimes this hangs and it is a good idea to do a test-fire by the trigger.
