Got a pair coming next week. This review convinced to step down a shell size though, so I'm glad I saw this before ordering!

i have the same issue with the SL shell. the 8-9 shell feels huge. it literally feels like a size 10. the 7 shell fits a 8-9 foot perfectly. i may have to get a pair of these. i had the bambricks when he had his pro skate. the SL shell is one of the best ive ever skated and i've been skating since 99. the geometry is perfect, like they took the cult and modernized it.

Yep! I love the way they fit with a size 7 shell! And yes, great skate!!!

Thank you for the review. Especially as someone nearing 40 but wanting to get back into it. Was going to buy a pair from a large stock site but ordering from your business instead.

I'm generally a size 8 in my shoes, and have had xsjados forever, so I wasn't sure how to go about this boot sizing. Sounds like the 7 shell is going to be the best choice.

@kultureridesupply I do not understand why you would say they grind slow, I've had these before and they slide super fast #they'reknowforthat

Thanks for the comment! But it sounds like you missed that I was referring to Aeons. Which is the skate I had been skating before this SL video. I was provided a comparison, which is why I was even mentioning the Aeon 😀
