Such a nice bag. I’ve had one for several years and not much out there can beat it for the price and quality of construction and materials. I cut the Velcro off my bag because I had the same issue as you. Little bit more aggressive of a solution than yours. 😅

I did try covering some of the velcro like I mentioned. I left about 3 inches uncovered in the middle of the flap. Works pretty well that way.

All this time I thought it was called a "Donkey" bag 😂

Cotton canvas bag sounds nice but I need a cotton candy bag.
