I'm here because of Manny Pacquiao, all of his fight he prefer to used Cleto Reyes Red Gloves. He used white , blue and yellow once but he is so much comfortable to red gloves

Great review video! I think you are the only KZreadr who is doing a direct review on the Reyes pro fight glove. There was a pair on clearance on Amazon Canada for a great price and I got it after watching your video review. Also, since you are from Canada, maybe add some Canadian boxing related contents would be cool. Looking forward to more great boxing videos!

Canadian contents… maybe make a fun video showcasing Trudeau our Prime minister’s boxing skills. I don’t think there are that many head of state that has their boxing matches on KZread and also showing his ink proudly. This is definitely a Canadian thing. LOL Since you do a lot of equipment stuff already and may of talk about Rival being a Canadian company? Maybe expand a bit on it and it’s Canadian beginning and history perhaps? Up and coming Canadian boxer review would be cool to learn. Perhaps giving a little more insight into their profile especially if you have fighters in your own gym that you want to help promote. Also, maybe some of the top boxing gyms in different provinces across Canada. Those are some of the things I thought would be interesting with a Canadian spin into it. Other topics which would be interesting to know is concussion during sparring and how do you define light sparring. Some people light could mean full power for someone else. it’s probably covered by other people but I think this has a lot of angle to make this topic quite informative as well as entertaining as well. Also since you do equipment review, maybe talk about the longevity of a glove using different metric of measurement to make it more interesting instead of a lot of people just say it last a year, 2 years or 3 years. Etc. Perhaps use something like 300k of hard punches, 2000 hours of heavy bag use, something like that to keep it entertaining. Doesn’t have to be exact science. Anyway, those are my thoughts. Hope you find it useful and perhaps incorporate some of those ideas in your future videos if you agree. You have a great channel. Keep up the great work!

Do these and the safetec ‘s have the same profile size ? These look smaller from watching both videos .

Safetecs don't use horse-hair afaik, the classic pro fight gloves do. Instead, these use some kind of foam that makes them last longer than the horse-hair variant.

Which gloves make it easier to open your palm? These gloves, or the safetec 8 oz reyes gloves?? Also, which training glove that can be used for sparring lets you open your palm the easiest?

there is hardly any padding on the reyes safetec fight gloves...they are totally not meant to hit bags with. They will definitely crush your opponents face in. The safetec gloves can be used for mitts and fights that's about it. They are well made.

Can you use the safetec version on the heavybag?

That Boxing Guy kind of irritating for some gloves that cost me almost $200. This was only my second session using them. Might just get the winning or grant gloves and keep them forever lol

Trying to decide between the official fight gloves & the safetecs for mitt work. wanting the precision & feedback Reyes are known for-- the true Cleto Reyes experience... At the same time, I'm not crazy about the idea that the official fight gloves are not as durable as the safetecs. I'm not sure which to invest in. Any opinions on this?

From what I heard if you know what your doing you can use them for pad and bag work and they last a while

Big Pancho 16 at least but go with 18oz to be safe for sparring aswell

That Boxing Guy I have the Everlast Mexico 8 oz they have almost no paddle or wrist protection more of a punchers gloves

Everlast Mx is a hybrid of padding and horse hair and the cleto Reyes gloves are just horse hair

That Boxing Guy I got a pair to practice in to be prepared for my pro debut. I’ve been trying to get my pro debut started for the past year and a half. Therefore I Changed gyms and got a new trainer yet unfortunately that gym closed permanently along with all the gyms from the 🍺 🦠. This corona virus 🦠 is messing everything up. Frustrating. A professional fighter I fought in the amateurs told me you got to learn how to box and pepper the opponent. Can’t be a puncher all the time because the 10oz Gloves. He said he not only broke his knuckle but his hand also in the wrist area. Love your channel! Love the music 🎵 🎼 🎶 !! Great reviews! You’re also a pretty fast heavyweight fighter. Thanks for the humor also. Keep up the good videos.

That Boxing Guy yah. I forgot that all the gyms are closed. Unless you film 🎞 🎥 outdoors. I forgot that in many boxing shows and venues allow the fighters to choose their own 🥊 gloves. I always thought that was strange for fighters to wear two different types of gloves while boxing 🥊 each other. Back in the day they both would wear the same fight gloves.

All my comments got deleted bc I changed my KZread account into a business account. Apparently that happens when you switch it for some reason. But i forgot what exactly I replied, but I know a lot of fighters that just use their fight gloves as training gloves for heavy bag and mitts after they used them for their fights. With the CR they do get flatter after a while but the padding in the newer ones seem to last longer

What do you mean you can use them for 39 rounds ? They break down then ?

Is it normal to have a lil empty space between the leather and the padding on some parts of the gloves? I notice that on my left glove, and a small part on my right glove too

It doesnt affect my punching at all cause once i actually put my hands in the gloves and make a fist, the leather stretches out and covers the entire padding like how it should. Its just a lil air pocket in between the leather and padding when i dont make a fist thats all

Yeah just the way horse hair gloves are sadly but also adds to there nature as a punchers gloves you want nice shape get normal gloves you want to fight get these
