I fly with Belavia from London 3 times a year, and it is almost always an Embraer 195. Also, you only need the immigration form if your going to transfer to Russia after Minsk. Only had good experiences with them.

I enjoy your trip reports! I like how you often fly in economy like us common people. ;-) While I have upgraded and still do occasionally, it is not often. 95% of my flights are in economy, but so many travel vloggers fly in business or first a lot. This means that what they experience is not what I experience. I also enjoy seeing reports on airlines and airports that are not so common. Like another poster here, I was always curious about your accent (and nationality). I'm guessing it's German or Scandinavian. Am I close?

Cool aircraft and a very interesting airline. I think Canada is one of the very few places where 735 aircraft are still used. I would suggest the Edinburgh to Barry flight where you land on a beach but unfortunately Flybe, the airline that runs that flight, ceased operations last night. So instead I would suggest London City to Florence Italy. It was a great flight. Can’t wait for the next one

Actually, there are still couple of 737-500s fly for Bravo Airways out of Ukraine to some regular destinations and it is Beirut, Amman I guess, used to fly to Tehran as well. They do also operate leisure services. And you have noticed Air Baltic operating 500s, but... as I remember only several 300s left and are to be replaced with more A220 shortly. Moreover about Ukraine, you can still catch some MD-83(Bravo Airways, Bukovyna Airlines), 737-400(Jonika Air and Yan Air currently operating within Africa), 300, those 500s and of course the prettiest Soviet An-24, and Yak-40 operating for Motorsich Airlines on the regular basis. And the one more attractive avgeek stuff is Embraer 145 wearing Dniproavia logo but operated by Windrose Airlines regularly. So, enjoy your day. And very welcome to Ukraine one day again!😉

I don't know about Belavia but in the USA if you buy cheapest ticket for United, Delta or Alaska they throw you away in the last seat in the end of the aircraft where you have no reclining seat back rest. If you are nice with air hostess she might let you move one or two seats ahead because she want to sleep on that last seat.

Restricted to two passes a year then the regular lounge entrance fees apply but better than nothing at all. I feel the best lounge to use them at are the Plaza Premium lounges in Singapore Changi. I know your in Singapore often so give them a whirl. Lots of food and beverage choices , showers and 24hr access. Would like to see a review of Air Seychelles in the future. Michael.

Not sure it is the last 737-500 in Europe. I flew one around Christmas last year with Blue Air. Not sure if they've since retired it (they're receiving new 737 Max models) but they did fly the type very recently.

Josh, you can fly 737-500 daily with Blue Air. You better try 737-600 which is the rarest 737 series. Personally, I've flown al series of 737 except -100; -200; -600.

Look at that flat nacelles of the older gen 737s! I don’t see many of those any more, at least not for commercial services!
