1) I love the new Off-shore Blue paint on this car
2) New 11.6” touchscreen is AMAZING
3) it features the latest Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology that offers somewhat of an autonomous drive (even on Lebanese roads!) and a bunch of safety options
4) It has the excellent permanent AWD system
5) The interior still has physical dials for the most part, none of that capacitive buttons/tiny gear selector bullsh*t, it’s easy to use.
6) I wish the powertrain was more powerful, but that’s just me…
I felt that Subaru is sometimes overlooked and underappreciated, but recently I started to notice just how popular the brand is in Lebanon and just how good they are. They’re fuel efficient, cheap to maintain, and practical AF. What’s not to like?
All Subaru models have a permanent symmetrical AWD drivetrain (except for the BRZ lol) and it works wonders. The beauty of symmetrical AWD is its balanced distribution of weight. Symmetrical layouts position the engine and drivetrain laterally and proportionally, resulting in equal axle lengths and even weight distribution.
