I’m contemplating very hard between these new A250 vs FL A45 (Recon/ Used) as the price is pretty much close .. As Bobby mentioned this new gen A250 has a glimpse of AMG but with a FWD compare to 4Matic AMG A45.. Care to share your piece of thought Bobby? Thanks

LingLong are chinese brands .... stick to big brands for tyres as they really pour in R&D to the compounds. Threads can be copied, but compounds would be where their technologies are .... Continentals new car don't have problem with oil temperatures even if you whack it more than 220 km/h at 30 minutes driving on the highway. I does that in my C class and it handles pretty good.

I like Mercedes-Benz interior. A touch more classy compared to BMW. But I still love how a BMW handles. A BMW is so forgiving, so predictable and makes you comfortable and confident when you are pushing the car at it's limit.

Hello Bobby, currently I am driving a 2016 Mazda 2 DJ Skyactiv. Recently looking into this A250 as my 1st entry level into premium car. Based on your experience, does A250 chassis and handling drive better than Mazda 2? Believe you also know how good is skyactiv chassis and handling from your Mazda 6 review. Currently I am enjoying the driving experience in Mazda 2 with good handling in same car segment compare to other. What is your advice, will A250 perform better in this area? Put aside engine output as A250 definitely out perform Mazda 2 in this.

@@AlfredYap nice! Congrats. It drives a whole lot better than the previous one, spacious too. Certain part of the car cheaper materials but overall it's nice if not a tad too expensive for what it is. Still, it's an A250 yo .... enjoy the car!

How does it handles around corners? Was it pointy enough for u? I saw in the first few corners it looked like it understeered.

It is pointy and a car you can push really fast. Not super talented chassis like a Ford Fiesta or Focus but pretty good

Hi bobby..sorry for out of topic here but would like to get your opinion on this. In the midst of buying my daily car...was thinking either vw golf gti or bmw e90. Buying it used btw. Would only want a bmw or vw for my daily. What do you recommend? I'm more towards the gti cause e90 is a sedan and i would prefer hot hatch as a daily.

If the A250's powertrain is too much for the chassis, then i cant imagine how bad it'd be in the AMG A35 or A45.

It'll be different. AMGs are totally different. Their record in driver enjoyment is 100/100 and i dare vouch for it based on record that all of them are phenomenal to drive

Maybe it's built for the Autobahn and not for carving corners, just my 2 cents ✌

Ahmad Khaizudeen maybe it’s because of RWD (oversteer) usually not really ‘perform’ at corners. Unless FWD (unsersteer) German cars like Audi (the non quattro one), and Volkswagen. These 2 German companies cars provide FWD. And because of understeer, that’s why these 2 brands are quite good at corners compare to RWD cars like Merce & BMW

@@theasparagus0076 a250 has always been fwd bro...the old model has a critique bout harshness suspension n too rigid casis, that's why this new one offers more comfortable ride (still harsh) but compensating the rigidity balance~ only the the amg with awd traction will tackle the rear end grip therefore the car will be balance like it should be~ 👌🏻😎

V40 T5 is less athletic than the A250. The V40 has better sound proofing, better interior build. But its interior is extremely dated and the handling is great on motorways, not so great on windy roads like this. The A Class would leave the V40 behind. At least for my amateur driving skills, i wont be able to drive the V40 faster than the A Class.

Peter Ambrose yup the new a class mercedes have planted a safety feature called Pre Safe Audio in other word pink noise whereby before the car met into accident there is pink noise or distortion sound coming at the speaker that will safe your stapedius and ear drum muscles to be contracted when crashed.And did you know before the crash will happen from the driver/passenger site, the seatbelt will tighten up and the seat will automatically for left or right a bit to avoid from massive physical injuries...hehehehhe awesome right and there is more safety feature inside the new a class

@@DtengLiddon not really. If u really wanna talk safety, look at volvos. They have it ALL. Pink noise, i see that as a marketing gimmick, seatbelt restraints is nothing new. Where is blindspot monitoring, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and full auto brake?

Bobby, your car review is great. shout out. but i just have an opinion for you, which perhaps can help u improve your content. my wife and I are considering to buy a new car now. in youtube, no doubt we can find many car reviews from the DRIVER's perspective. I have TOO MUCH knowledge about the driving experience from these reviews. But, very little knowledge about how it feels as a REAR passenger, before buying a car. that is one of the MOST important key considerations before buying a car. Unfortunately, I don't understand the language in that video, but it would be great if it can be in English or Malay (or mixed). Hehe. Just my 2 cents.

mate, first you as a motoring journalist should at the very least follow the speed limit. secondly, the way you veer from lane to lane is a typical msian driving style..show some good driving ethics like using the signals, not speeding like its sepang racetrack

Please don’t drive like a lunatic just for internet likes. Drive safe, be considerate of others on the road. If you really want to take the car through it’s paces, take it on a track.

I think Cardock channel is a million times better than you, he is honest, he dont compare every single car out there with a bmw, unlike you, every single review bmw bmw bmw bmw, nothing else to say, so much hatred in your reviews.. every single cars out there are different, it has pros and cons, but for you, bmw is god, typical fanboy :P

Maybe because you don't own a BMW. I own both Mercedes and BMW. I prefer BMW driving dynamics way better than the Mercedes. Mercedes-Benz might be a touch more comfortable, but BMW still reins as the Ultimate Driving Machine.
