@@guiguidu067 I agree. However, Mercedes sells premium cars. You get what you buy, a sporty premium car. In my country the A250 costs 36 thousand Euros without options. For 4 thousand more, you get a GTI Clubsport. Is the Clubsport more worthy for 4 thousand? Absolutely. But no one buys a GTI for comfort and luxury.

I’m currently learning to drive in this exact model and I love it. I Just switched instructors where I was previously learning in a Toyota Yaris, so this feels sporty enough for me. I think after I’ve driven enough cars I might start to notice the difference, but for now this car is at the top of my list (and is just within budget)

Did we drive the same car? I found the steering feedback on the new A-Class to be very precise (A180d and A200 AMG Line). The A200 AMG is punchy and fast enough for me, and very refined. The A250 is FAST - and you’re calling it slow? What’s fast for you?

You forgetting how often he drives cars way faster than this. I was quite surprised he said it was “slow” but it’s 0-100 is a quick 6.2 seconds. A lot of cars can achieve a fast time. But tend to get slower from 100-200. Like my car goes 0-100 in 6 seconds flat. But from 100-200 it’s definitely quicker. It was “slow” albeit me never driving my own car above 170. I know it’s quicker because he reviewed it. No only did he admit it was quick. You could see it flying through the speedometer.

Nah he’s right. It’s quick, but the experience definitely isn’t fast. A gti feels so much faster and sportier even though the 0-100 times are roughly the same

I'm sorry but how is this car considered "not fast"? 224 hp and a 0-100 in 6 seconds what else do you want? For european roads with a speed limit of 100/120 kmh this car is way more than enough in my opinion.. I just don't get why this reviewer keeps slamming the car for not having A45 AMG performance....

He is talking about Torque power, 100km/h to 170 for example, and only about 30% of the traffic respects the 120km/h, majority does 150+ on our European roads

Marios actually he does. He reviewed the 308 gti. That goes 0-100 in 6 seconds. But pushing to the same speeds he went in the a250. The Peugeot was much faster. The Mercedes looked quick but much longer to get to the same speed. So he drives everything in the same category of car. Not just faster cars. It would be very naive to compare it to a rs3 level and above car. I think cars like the i30n. 308 gti. Megane rs. Focus st. Golf gti. Cupra are all cars on the same page. And they go faster to to the same top speed.

The speed limit probably is 250 in fact. When it shifted gears it dropped down and since it's not transfering power while shifting, the air resistance slows you down that much. But you've seen it go from 243 to 244 again and it would most likely continue to accelerate but unfortunately there wasn't such a long piece of free road to continue going so you had to slow down.

Apparently in Germany you can get it in 4matic aswell. While up here you can get the latest added A220 in 4matic, but the A250 is still only in fwd xD kinda weird. Anyway I wouldn't really want a car around 250 or more hp in fwd anymore. It's one of the 2 things I wish that was different in my car xD same with it only being a manual. But it's hard to cruise with a quite stiff manual

I was disappointed that you didn’t mention, the safety features like automated steering and all that, please include it in your next video of cars!

So this car is ideal for commuting on dutch highways. It's comfortable and when the opportunity arises can go fast enough :D

Quick enough to 200 KMH would be fine for me in the UK. He didn't even have to raise his voice.

What sporty car do you advice? Except Golf.....

ce que je n’ai pas aimé dans cette vidéo est le fait qu’il sous estime cette voiture alors que c’est la plus puissante sans être pour autant une AMG et c’est normal puisque c’est une A250 et vraiment la comparer à une Golf R est un erreur, en revanche pour l’intérieur et l’extérieur elle surpasse de haut toutes les voitures de ce segment alors je trouve que c’est une vraie réussite, pour faire un vrai comparatif il aurait du prendre une Golf 7 R et une A45 AMG pour que ce soit crédible au vue de l’extérieur et de l’intérieur Autrement c’est une bonne vidéo. Je laisse un j’aime car la qualité de vidéo sur cette chaîne est incomparable à n’importe quelle autre, et c’est pour cela que n’importe quel français appréciera toujours regarder vos vidéos! But don’t forget that’s not a C63S Amg, because when you talk about the perf you think & talk like it is a « supercar » but that not the goal for MercBenz, « c’est une citadine » 😊

Loris XV justement il ne compare pas à la golf R du tout, d’ailleurs il cite la A35 à venir et qui va elle, se positionner en face de la R. Et surtout, ne pas comparer une Golf R avec une A45. Ce n’est pas comparable

The sound inside while acceleration is nice but on the outside no cracks or anything Even with the sport exhaust. It’s has a deep sound and bass, nothing more :/

Nic B Yea obviously the new a45 will sound good (if it’s coming) but like the pre-facelift model a250 was the sport version under AMG so I guess the A35 will replace that instead of this model A250

In my opinion, this is a poor review, but the fault is shared between the reviewer and Mercedes. Obviously saying this car "isn't fast" or doesn't feel sporty at all is simply ridiculous unless you are comparing it to other cars waaaay out of its league. When comparing to its contemporaries from BMW and Audi, this car delivers in many ways. That being said, the A Class has the 180, the 200, the 220, the 250 and the A35 and A45. Its hard to know what kind of performance jumps you are supposed to expect. Also I really dislike the naming of the "AMG Line". AMG denotes performance, not appearance. If you add that to a cars title you might see some unfair comparisons arise.

A250 is a nice car but I think that it can be as fast as the A45 AMG when you chip tune it with stage 2 or 3.

Hi, I am not trying to be funny I assure you but whilst I watch a lot of your video's, I always get frustrated that you take a camera view from your head so everything is looking down on the car - no side or low level shots to truly see the car. Not a complaint but take your camera off and hold it in your hand whilst looking around the car please😎

going almost 250kph in this thing is actually quite dangerous lol

I had the chance to drive this car for 9 days. The engine is not refined, for a 2 liter turbo Mercedes. My 10 year old audi with 2 liter, 4 cylinder engine is smooth almost like a 6 cylinder engine. The dual clutch is slow, thinking a lot. Golf GTI 6 had better, faster transmission. Many times when driving slow 10 km / h, and you just press a very little, the car will jump a big one, unnecessarily. This car is just missing the refinement of a Mercedes. That is a disappointment. The sound system is an other great disappointment. From a premium car you expect premium sound. Even if this is just a small car. The equalizer is somehow not dynamic. You can never set the base and highs to give it a nice, rich sound. The whole point of this car is somehow lost. The interior ambient lighting is cool though. Rather go for the Audi A3.

Top speed is irrelevant to most people. Also it is not slow. This is not an AMG version. You're a tart seriously. This is not a review.

Don't be daft. The engine, chassis, gearbox and everything else is Mercedes you fool. Only the 1.5 diesel is shared with Renault and the 1.33 petrol in the A200 was CO-DEVELOPED with Renault. Big difference. Same like when MIni and BMW was using the engine they co-developed with Peugeot... the 1.6thp and 1.6 vti.
