I really appreciate the video but extremely disappointed there is no explanation.. if theres ever a time you should bring your dog into the vet and be worried etc.

No. It’s just a spasm. If you dog isn’t breathing you should call the vet but that’s not what this is

What if you feel them tensing up or muscles in their body are moving. Is that normal?

What is the best to do about that ?

Try to pet them and calm them down. It can be treated with Benadryl, just look up the correct dosage and check with your vet.

I learned from a more helpful video, if you cover their nostrils, theyll breathe through their mouth and stop

@@ReecePlaysDrums_ omg NO you DONT cover both their nostrils my God your gunna suffocate them!!!! You cover ONE nostril while keeping there mouth closed!!!! Wow do your own research ppl and if ya dont then don’t be telling ppl what’s up!!!! Holy cow….

So you work in an animal hospital & show furbabies goin thru reverse sneezing, but you can't rub their necks & talk to them to calm them down & stop the reverse sneezing? SMH.

@Bob Brock wrong. I did it with all 4 of mine & it helped stop it. Chihuahuas are prone to getting a collapsed trachea & reverse sneezing doesn't help that. But, my 4 are on a Water Soluble CBD now & they don't have reverse sneezing anymore.

I've never owned a chihuahua and wish I knew how to help mine. She has a collapsed trachea and vet isn't much help

@@candibyrum7171 my chihuahua was doing this today we thought she was trying to throw up but it was more of a sniffle or sneeze for about a min or two no snorting. Then I got her and wrapped her in a blanket and rubbed her gently and it went away.

@@Houstontx225 that's good. You can also talk to your furbaby, sayin, it's ok, mama's got you, while rubbing her neck. You can also stop it, by putting your fingers over the holes of her nose, to stop it too.
