Great end result.I've had this kit in my stash for about a year now,it's screaming out for me to start it! I've used a few of those MRP paints and i agree, they are fantastic but i have to wear a face mask when i use them as they stink so much! Model on my friend..👍

Its certainly smelly paint but then again so is tamiya laquers its a kit that i wasnt sure i would finish but now i am very happy with how its looking
Hi, I tried this technique, on the same model - however, my initial grey coat seemed to be uniform in colour with no really discerible differences in shading.....why do you think this is? Too thick? Is it best to start again? ( I dont want to build up loads of layers and lose the detail) I am using AK 3rd generation acrylics. Thanks!

It's probably too thick a coat You could try and remove the paint and start again but in all honesty that's a right pain to do Myself I would try and give some colour shades with oil paints that can easily be removed if needed
What did you use for the pre-shading? Looks good

very thinned tamiya white sprayed at low pressure found it works better for grey or lighter colour aircraft
Can I ask what airbrush and compressor you use for your model painting all the best. Carl

the compressor is one of the generic ones with a 3l tank costs around £100 the airbrush was a procon boy ps-270 comes with a 0.2 needle set up and for £135 its probably the best airbrush i have bought for the money i paid better than the iwata i have thats for sure
