    Nice to see the squarebody Chevy back on the bench. Just as a guide, the 77-83 or so Chevy engines were painted GM Corporate Blue. But since that's not the original engine and it's a custom, it doesn't matter. Nice upgrades on the kit. Good to see you back. I might be away a bit as I will have a visitor. But it's a good thing.

    Revell should have made those 2wd trucks with front coil springs like they were on the street, however since they didn't it's easier imo to lower the front. Sometimes dealing with cutting the coils down or changing the spindle design you run into A-arm headaches

  • @BGsModelWorkshop

    @BGsModelWorkshop

    8 ай бұрын

    100% agree my friend! I mean I could have actually stretched the ax a little bit to do a drop axle in the front or it could have raised the front end to do a gasser front end. It seems like that straight bar front end has a lot more or easier options for modifying it. However, it's not correct in the least for an actual street truck. 😁

While searching for builds of this kit (to see if there were any issues about the kit I need to know about) your video came up. I would check out the HPIGUY build too as he mentions some issues. I built the exact same kit you have in the 1990s (?). I have the reissue which thankfully is molded in white LOL. I still think it will be a fun build.
