Hi, so with the email color you just use the color normally and when you done you dip the brush in the color mix? Aren't you supposed to mix them together?

Sounds good guys. With Testor's paints disappearing due to the Rustoleium take-over, I will have to start bringing in an alternative. This might be the way to go.

It's the same as humbrol tbh if you are used to humbrol type enamel...you be fine with this

@@MonsterHobbiesModelCarGarage its not a spam its quite true what he is saying. Also xtracolor enamel are in similar tins like Revell and Humbrol. Tamiya enamel is wery good and come in similar jars to Testors.

It’s a U-Boat. I don’t remember which kit though.

I got a revel fast and furious car but might be using a different kind of paint.

This is great Almost like the old Humbrol paints. Will you be selling these?

Br cautious when using the (supposedly) equivalent colours with Humbrol & REVELL. They are Not an exact match. If you are using (let's say) TAN, in one Brand, but you run out of it, and have to purchase the Other Brand, you'll end up with almost a Two-Tone Finish.

Can i use this enamel paint to paint bumper of my car in black with sponge brush ? Will it last ? Is primer needed please ?

I would use lacquer thinner it makes it dry faster. I would recomend a plastic friendly one that wont melt it. Like Tamiya.

The enamel paints might hold up okay outdoors.

Enamel based will hold wery well outside as long as its fully dried and cured. I would still apply revell clear over to protect the enamel paint further.

You need to prime and thinn the paint. Also you need to spray or brush it in a room with relatively low dust in the air because you dont want dust in youre paint.

Define "horrible". What seems to be the problem? I'm brush painting a P51-D with Revell enamels and they work great for brush painting.

Im using revell paints, the ones in the silver cans enamel. How i must clean the brushes and my hands? Wich product i must use?

You can use either mineral turpentine (white spirit) or water based turps. Not sure if water based turps will work in an airbrush though, if that is what you mean.

Youse nitril gloves and thin with Tamiya lacquer thinner or Mr color thinner. Use extraction fan or a well ventilated area and a respirator.

The aqua color is not airbrush ready. It needs thinned.

Totally agree some need so much mixing too

The only sad thing is their customers service never woth a penny . No replacement concerned a defective tiny can of paint ,they prefer lost me ?

They sent me grey instead antrizit matt and grey have a lot of water

You Broke The NUMBER 1 Rule! NEVER Shake Tinlets or Cans of Paint! ..... Not only does it not Mix the Paint Properly, but it Creates Bubbles! You need to STIR Thouroughly! Shaking Spray Cans is a different situation, as they have a small metal ball in them to act like a Paint Stirrer: However, you must Shake Them Up & Down Vigourously for at least One Minute, before, and during application. DO NOT 'Rattle' them from Side to Side.

I do that with humbrol enamels with a shake ball in it and I got no problems.

@@statoilbensin2190 ... Yes, I've since found out that it's okay with a Mixing Ball in it, because Spray Cans work that way. Usually though, it can often cause Bubbles in the Paint. However, I've been informed by a Supplier, that the Mixing Balls are really only for Water Based Paints, when used in Cans.

@@nevillemadden394 Well, Mr hobby and Ak interactive sell mixing balls and they both sell solvent based paint. Mr hobby has Aqueous and Mr color and Ak has their Real colors. However I have used army painters mixing balls almost only on solvent based paints. I guess their not meant for it since wargaming paint is never solvent based (unless its aersol sprays). I have never had a problem with any interactions. A mixing ball in water based paint might start to rust but most of the model kit paints that are water soluable are actually vinyl based and I belive that is why they can have metal pigments in them without starting to rust. But Humbrol enamel is often too thick for a mixing ball anyways. But I use to have some thinner in them so they get thinner. I like to use lacquer thinner from Tamiya but for matt and satin the paint will dry too fast so I paint from the tin instead with some lacquer thinner in it.
