Keep it as originally intended, charcoal black interior. Your attention to detail is as good as I've seen from any modeler and I'm sure you'll knock it out of the park with whatever color you choose and getting the correct shading for the leather seats. Excellent work as always!

Black and gold. The car is a Shelby GT-H. Hertz rental car exclusive. Interior should be probably a tan or brown color.

I go with saddle color too as there few cars now days that have lighter interior colors other than gray that stand out anymore but all ways go to black as default choice for modern cars is getting tiredsome so yes do saddle please.

hi, anothe nice video thank you. I have a couple of question. During dry time, do get any dried paint in tip of airbrush or how do you avoid it? after using prime coat do you clean your airbrush before appliying the color?

brown so you have something that kind of goes with the gold

Perfect, you are cutting those decals laying over the doorlines - of course I do too but I know a lot of model builders who don't. Not only that it won't look really good it can be quite dangerous for the decals at this places. BTW I'm always wondering what are the benefits of this special decal tweezers you use over other "normal" ones?

If you have high quality tweezers. Nothing. Otherwise if you don’t they grip the decals very easily of you strictly use them for decals

To remove imperfections. Make the body lines smoother and most importantly to have the paint actualy stick to the body

Hi, Just a silly question about spraybooths. I live in an apartment and was wondering about ventilation. Can I have the spraybooth in my living room and have some sort of ventilationtube attached to the booth and lead it out the window? Or is at a living room a generally bad place to do the painting?

MrRockajill If you have a good spray booth with the extraction hose out a window and only use alcohol based acrylics like Tamiya and not lacquer/enamel and DEFINITELY not 2K, you may not have any complaints spraying in the house. But yeah in your case I would do all my painting outside weather permitting/more than 55 deg. Do your research if you ever are tempted by 2k. Hazards can’t be over stressed. 3M Respirator, cover ALL skin and eyes. IMO Only use with paint booth with at minimum 350 cfm extraction rate and outside vent. With 2 booths like he uses you have 500 plus. Shocks me to see people spraying this with skin exposed and no respirator.

Zal het maar op een nieuwe video zetten. :P Dat accent, die naam, jij moet haast wel Nederlander zijn :P Maar, je hebt nog geen Datsun 240Z gedaan :O Ken toch nooit ! Maar ik heb al een hele tijd een idee voor een modded Datsun 240Z. Heb ook de peperdure Rocketbunny mod kit gezien op meerdere plekken, maar heb mijn twijfels of die op alle 1/24 Datsun 240Z's net zo mooi past, en vaak zijn het vooral de longnose varianten of echt de hele oude ogende basis kits die op voorraad zijn en niet de ietwat 'modern' ogende kits. Jij hebt er helaas ook geen op je site (die niet echt lekker wilde werken in Chrome, maar ik denk dat dat meer aan mijn Chrome ligt die de laatste tijd wel meer kuren heeft). Zo wil ik eigenlijk ook wel een leuke photoetch kit hebben, tenzij dat echt niet nodig is, maar leuk 5-punts gordel of zo, maar dna dus ook de rode stof daarvoor, moet dat 2mm of 3mm breed zijn, en ik wil een dikke wing achterop. Gelukkig zit er al wel een rolkooi in de RocketBunny kit, anders moest ik dat zelf ook nog eens gaan maken in plasticard tubes. Maar ik zit niet in deze wereld, wel weer in Warhammer 40K van Games Workshop waar jij ook wat van gebruikt, alsmede Vallejo waar ik al mijn airbrush spul vandaan heb. Ik ga geen rijen met van deze auto's maken, misschien ooit nog een andere, ook een Supra MKIV of een oudere R34 of nieuwere R35 Nissan GTR (Skyline). Ik hou van de Warhammer 40K modellen converten, dus een beetje kutten met plasticard en of greenstuff wat ik gewoon in huis heb zal vast wel lukken. Zal onder andere nodig zijn om de spoiler te laten passen etc. Waarvoor ik eigenlijk ook nog wel een beter passende wil vinden. Beetje meer zoals degene die jij hier gebruikt misschien. Ik heb kort wat bij elkaar gezocht. Mijn best gedaan het ook zoveel mogelijk bij 1 adres te zoeken. Ik weet niet of er pedalen bij de set zitten, anders wil ik ook nog wel een mooi setje (photo etched) pedalen hebben eigenlijk. Zou een radiator/intercooler met photo ething ook wel leuk vinden. Maar ik heb wat moeite met weten wat wel of niet op elkaar past, en vaak is het niet op voorraad, zeker in NL erg lastig te vinden. Weinig zin om zoveel uit te geven en dat ik er uiteindelijk weinig tot niets mee kan zeg maar. Weet jij wat adresjes, jij hebt vast meer kennis en of contacten of weet beter waar naar te zoeken etc. Wie weet ken/heb jij zelf wat andere min of meer dezelfde dingen zo wel beschikbaar of bereikbaar ? Kun jij wat bestellen/verkrijgen wat ik niet kan krijgen, heb je nog tips met hoe en wat ? Ik bedoel, zeker als je helpt zou ik het fijn vinden het dan via jou te doen, je gaat ook geen moeite helemaal voor niets doen zou ik zeggen. Overigens teken ik af en toe wat wagens. Man, jij denkt ik tik even een kort vraagje🤪 De rocket bunny kit is voor de Hasegawa 240z gemaakt en zal enkel op die kit redelijk passen. Alle andere delen zijn universeel en zul je zelf passend moeten maken. De photo etch set is weer voor de aoshima kit. Wat ik op mn site als voorradig heb staan is direct leverbaar. Wil je iets wat niet voorradig is stuur ff een mailtje. Kan ik kijken wat er mogelijk is.

@@TheScalemodelingChannel Nou ja, dat dus. En het probleem is dus steeds dat er dus niet echt matching dingen zijn, of weer de helft niet op voorraad etc. Beetje jammer allemaal. En inderdaad, de vraag is dus in hoeverre die dingen uit te wisselen zijn, en waarschijnlijk dus niet genoeg. Maar zo is het wel een gokje nemen met wanneer iets, if at all, weer op voorraad komt, en meerdere keren bestellen, met steeds meer verzendkosten en zo. Erg jammer allemaal. En ja, als ik het doe, doe ik het goed :P Maar je hoefde ook niet echt veel vragen meer te stellen toch ? :P

@@TheScalemodelingChannel Oh ja, en ik vond helaas helemaal geen Datsun spul op je website... Als je op een gegeven moment een bijpassende RocketBunny en 240Z zou kunnen leveren zou dat alleen al erg fijn zijn, dan weet ik zeker dat ik een setje heb. Maar eventjes na december, niet de meest handige maand om nog meer uit te geven.
