Revelation, Revealing The Truth - The Story of Rastafari in St Lucia

For the last six decades, Rastafari in the Caribbean has faced the brunt of legalized State violence, police brutality, and institutionalized policies that sought to marginalize and humiliate any person associated with the socio-spiritual and political movement. Throughout the Black World, Rastafari has provided a space for the reclamation of an Afrikan identity in direct response to colonial attempts to elevate whiteness through different vehicles of oppression. Revelation explores the multiple instances of direct and indirect State aggression and provides ‘overstanding’ of the peaceful refuge Rastafari provided Black people across the living diaspora amidst this projected and legalized violence. This film offers a cathartic outlet for these traumatic recollections, allowing a space of remembrance for the many people who have transcended and are now living ancestors, making a celebratory space for the pioneering moments and sacrifices of Rastafari across the world.

Thank you for the upload. We are not appreciative of who we are in the Caribbean. We forgot who we are. Our leaders are vassal heads of confused people.

Yes I, the viewer that discloser that this video in misinformation, I beg to differ, the narrative was disclosing the experience if Rastas in the Country of St Lucia, it depicts the unique experience that Rastafari people endure in their specific Island/s, just like the experiences in Antigua Barbados St Croix St Kitts Grenada Trinidad/Tobago Dominica Jamaica etc. it's an inherent fact that Rastafari came from Africa that's African history 101. Common throughout that periods Rastas were under constant oppression my experience was in America .That's why Rasta adhere to unity equal rights and justice without distinction of Race or Ethnicity, because if color were to be the impetus as Them those people that abused Rasta would not have done that. Distinctively they do the works if Babylonians agents of the other side. What's so Ironic and amazing is that every body and their miter wears Locks freely...as it's said one has to suffer for the others to live. The lack of gratitude is what's missing. But Rasta is in his Eternal missiiñ unstoppable. The all the Rasta People the world throughout we want to thank you, because you were the true Bearers of the Cross.Glory to the Prince of Salem in which you serve.🐂🇲🇾🇯🇲🇨🇬🇹🇿🇧🇷🇿🇼🇧🇮🇲🇼🚒☺️🇧🇸🇪🇹🇿🇦🇧🇫🔥🔥🔥🔥. Thank you Rastafari people for your resilience and tenacity, your reward has already been bestowed on you. You Created a Nation without Bombs and Ammunition.HE THAT DWELLS IN THE SECRET PLACE OF TGE MOST HIGH SHALL ALWAYS ABIDE UNDER TGE SHADOW IF THE ALGIHTY...JAH RASTAFARI SELASSIE I.TRIPPLE CROWN KING.
