My brain

Any office/studio will be incomplete without a coffee machine. Also, the MX Master 3/3S is the best mouse, period. I would recommend them to anyone, especially if one is considering the Apple Magic Mouse.

@@MarkEllisReviews I have two MXmaster 2 and I'm fine with them - but would not be without them. As I have carpal tunnel scars pretty much anything else just hurts. Why 2 not 3? Ummm couldn't afford the 3s.

Mx master keys and mx3 mouse have been incredible for the past 2 years or so

The piece of kit I couldn’t live without currently is my 12.9” M1 iPad Pro. It’s the most used out of all my tech devices and could do even more if I didn’t also have a M1 Studio Max.

This is a good tour of the gear. It would be nice to see a more wide shot of what is where in the studio and the reason for the location. I ask as many of us now work from home a few days a week and seeing the layout from further back would be useful.

Very much looking forward to the music production videos on the Mac mini. I am very tempted to buy one, they are relatively affordable, but I’d like to see your music production videos for affirmation ❤

Great tour

I have to say my Roborock S7 Max Ultra vacuum cleaner / mop is the most important tech device without being a hands on device. Being in a wheelchair a good portion of my day this makes life simple! Merry Christmas Mark!

Dell UltraSharp 40 Curved WUHD Monitor - I used to have two 27ins monitors linked to my MacStudio but this is a game changer, Top piece of kit!

Magic Trackpad (2nd gen) - hands down the best piece of tech I use followed closely behind by my iPhones (X, 11 Pro, & 15 Pro Max). Better than a mouse. I haven't used a mouse for maybe 10 years at home. What's really sealed the deal for me is using it in conjunction with an ordinary, cheap stylus to make my maps in Google Earth Pro for the past 2-3 years. I've got the advantages of a laptop/iPad/WACOM type device but use an iMac 27" (Late 2015). OK, I guess the iMac is the king of all of it..... I rocked the original Magic Trackpad with a prior iMac and I gave that one to my father who still uses it. Other than that....iPhone. It's been my A camera since the 7. The X replaced it, and then I kept the X when I got the 11 Pro, and finally got the 15 Pro Max to replace the 11 Pro this year. I will now have a 3-camera setup for interviews using exclusively iPhones. I used an Osmo Pocket as Camera C for the past few years. Without these phones, I'd probably still be rocking my Canon VIXIA camcorder, or at least a more modern version of one. Blurry backgrounds are useless for my work and are overrated IMO. We make videos, not movies.

So this is where you hid the coffee machine review! I looked out for it for weeks! 😂

Another great video Mark! I always look forward to your videos and I feel like I can trust your opinion. Looking forward to seeing the updated M3 Max review!! I am still using a retina MacBook Pro 2015 and I am wanting to purchase an Apple Silicon MacBook. Do you see huge performance differences between M1 Max and m3 Max? I am considering the M1 for audio production and am using Logic Pro. X. In your opinion is the M1 Max a good move or not?

Top of my list is a Mac Mini M2 Pro, but I disagree that the base version is enough, at least not for my use. I had the M1 with 16GB RAM and constantly maxed it out, so I switched to M2 Pro primarily to get 32GB and would happily have paid for more if I could. Even at Apple's prices, more RAM is still the cheapest way to get the most out of a computer. Always was (and I've been at it since 1980), always will be.

My 16“ M1 Pro is the one thing I couldn’t live without. I run my business on this one machine only and it never disappoints me.

M1 Pro MacBook Pro. The stock 16 GB model is still doing very well for me, and it's still great for video editing and all my other productivity tasks. Thanks again for another great video!

Can't live without my MacBook Air M2.....but can live without manbags! (snigger). Would love to see more studio tour videos and a one-month challenge video on using the iphone 15 pro to record all content for a month?

I do like the orange keycaps on the Light Mode keyboard. Wonder if they'll release more sets in a traditional primary secondary colour layout? Which profile is it? Most speciality sets are DSA which I don't like because it feels so flat compared to sculpted profiles.

The one piece of tech I could not do without is my iPad Pro. I watch KZread streaming to my 77” LG tv and it allows me to curate the videos I’ll watch next and to respond to the current video as I’m doing now. I have an M2 MacBook Pro but I rarely use it and I think it’s because of the touch screen of the IPad. I do have the Magic Keyboard as well

Being retired, my favorite piece of tech would have to be my M1 iPad Pro. Next would be the Mac Studio (with Studio Display) which I do a bit of gaming on with WoW. Love the Magic Track Pad, never used the Magic Mouse 🤢 and a regular mouse for gaming.

For me it would be my Sennheiser HD560S wired headphones paired with my Project S2 Digital DAC.

I think this further reinforces my desire to get a 14inch MacBook Pro M3 Pro...

MX Master 2s (could not afford the 3 and they are the same basic design for comfort as far as I know). Bose Ultra Ear buds and Bose QCs - both on your recommendation and you were right. Personal use - MBA M1 - work has to be Windows and I am lucky enough to have a Dell XPS 17" - oh and Keychron keyboards - K2 for home use and K3 for the office. Sorry - not one piece at all. Umm Bose Ultra earbuds then.
