Welp actually same for me normally but i gou my 2015 60 horspower ford fiesta with 25000 km (not a lot) an 3 years old (i got it last year) for 7400€. It never had an accident and is in perfect condition. Normally, at leas where i live, you'd barely get an older fiesta with way more km for that money. (Also sry for the rant but just wanted to say that i love my car and i'm happy that i got it in such an amazing condition for that money and that if you search hard enough you'll find an amazing care you like for a good price as well

Jordan the problem you are describing is more about rev hang than the fact that first is too different than second. Rev hang is manufactured in in newer cars to help mpg, whereas older sporty cars tend to have much less. If you want first to feel better look into a lighter flywheel and maybe a ecu flash if that car has it built into the throttle response.

If you're going M2 though, you gotta get the M2 Competition. The original M2 was underpowered and supremely lacking in fun factor. Also I'd much rather the M2 Competition over the Mustang just because the BMW is smaller and more tossable as opposed to the Mustang which is heavy in comparison and doesn't handle as well. I think the GT and especially the Shelby models are great cars, but he's already got high powered supercars, I think something light that he can throw around is more the way to go just for variety's sake.

Ive had a 2015 Fiesta ST for a year now. If you're trying to add a little power and make the car more spirited add an aftermarket intercooler, drop in air filter, and grab yourself an e30 tune from dizzytuning. Makes the car feel completely different and adds a ton more power for only a few hundred bucks

I have the 2017 version of the Fiesta ST and it's a surprisingly fun car. Obviously it's not going to hold a candle to the rest of your garage but a good choice for a first manual. The inability to heel-toe is something a lot of people complain about. If you want to do it right, you'll have to get a kit to change the pedals. As for going from first to second, shift sooner (like around 2300 rpms) and you will have a much better time. There's so little power being put down in first that you should want to get out of it as soon as possible anyways.

the only thing i hate was how he refereed to the wing as it having down force when that is not the purpose of it what so ever it is used to prevent negative drag. This is also the reason why you see semi truckers sometimes have those flaps on the top and sides of the container that they are shipping to reduce drag because when you leave a big box like that on the back of a faster moving car you get a negative pressure system which causes the car to be pulled backwards. This is why you see the wing of the car tilted downwards towards the street and not like a spoiler would be which is faced the opposite direction

Not exactly someone who can seamlessly shift to below 200 HP and be anything but unimpressed. My car gets 250 and while I could have fun in a Fiesta, I wouldn't exactly be blown away by it either. Also your car is more powerful and from what I've heard, a lot more fun than the Fiesta version so idk why you'd be disappointed.

To help with the 1st to second time. Instead of waiting for so long, slowly disengage the clutch right at the bite point. You'll get used to it, and some will say it's gonna cause more wear on your clutch (of course you will). When you do this it will help the engine match wheel speed faster and with less jerking. The problem is you have such a newer car, and it has a heavy flywheel. The newer cars have such bad rev hang because of emissions reasons. My 1990 Miata had less power and less gears then my Dodge dart Mopar edition, but without modern rev hang it's so easier
