Yes, what concerns me is the the three members of the on field team, had been in the UAE prior to refereeing this game. So . Then there's the Tottenham vs Liverpool VAR disallowed goal? That VAR team had just arrived back from the UAE. Once again they'd effectively just been paid by City's owners. Another issue. Why does it take so long for VAR to look for a reason to deny a goal, and yet it was a matter of seconds to ignore a clear cut penalty. I doesn't matter if it's 3 mins, 30 mins or as in this case seconds to go in added time. A foul is a foul. A penalty is a penalty. It's about time Liverpool bankrupted the PGMOL and sued them.

As I understand it, (1) the ref incorrectly gifted the ball back to the Forest keeper in the first half so at least his incorrect interpretation of the rules was consistently applied and (2) Forest had possession of the ball at least twice after that final drop ball, making it difficult to argument it was the ref - rather than the losses of possession - that cost them the game.

Liverpool fan here. You heard it folks. The VAR official did not consider this a "High Boot". It was according to the VAR a legal challenge. I am not a lawyer but I thing LFC should be considering a legal case against individual refs, the PL, and the Ref association. I do not think any football ref under oath will testify that this is NOT a dangerous play considering access to slow motion and multiple camera angles. The var team shd be completely revamped. Get professionals trained and rotated . Ex refs cannot be var as they can be bias and in the pockets of some owners. Fire or suspend them if grave mistakes are made. You cant give warnings to air traffic controllers after they crash a plane , can u. So much at stake. Treat them like that and pay them a reasonable salary for such a job

No need to do anything to d Var but can we do something to referees who failed d system or underperformed or on d take. Atleast we must ve somekind of clause allowing actions to be taken against d referees. They ought to ve integrity n act responsibly for their failures as players n coaches too r bind by d rules.
