DIY Friends! I just wanted to take a moment to reiterate how thankful I am for all of you sticking with me for three weeks on this project 💜 I know it’s not ideal to make a project into a 3- parter but I wanted to make sure I could show all the ups and downs and what It takes to really create a project on the scale, by yourself. Don’t even get me started on doing it yourself and also filming it haha 😂 Your support has meant the world Xo I love this community so much. Grateful for all of you! 💜

I think you're great! You're really inspiring and have your own style. For the lights, there are some bulbs where you switch the light once it's "daylight", you switch it the second time and it's warm.

This is beautiful, Dani! Yes, I would love to see how you organize your new space. I’m so incredibly impressed with what you accomplish in your videos! I’m addicted to reno videos and some of their projects are done over many episodes. I think this was great to spread this out over three episodes. You were able to share more info and detail that way.🌸

A quick tip for painting when you don't want to tape of is get a really stiff piece of cardboard that is comfortable to use and then wrap it in cling wrap. You place it up up against the wall and just go. If it gets paint build up you wipe it off. It takes a little bit of practice but it really helps.

Looks amazing!!! One trick I learned with wallpaper is to paint the wall a similar colour to the main one in your wallpaper. Especially when it’s a dark wallpaper. That way, if you end up with a tiny gap between the seams, you don’t have a white line down the wall. Well done on such a breathtaking makeover. I always learn so much from you ❤

I like that you don't skip over the troublesome things that tend to get in the way and cause me to lose momentum on any project. It would be easier to not point out the issues and camouflage them on video but those are the real obstacles that need to be addressed somehow and it helps to see your decisions and results.

I have an old house too, and you're correct, sometimes the right way is any way... Especially when stuff ain't square and the people before that helped with repairs did not know what they were doing... You find a whole lot that people told you was one way and then it turns out its not. Such is the life of a diyer, especially like me who is still learning 😮‍💨😅

I lived (for 36 years) in an old house , built in 1910. Dressers always had “lifts” on the front legs…even the Christmas tree always had wedges under the stand. No, I never liked it, but you live with it. There are all sorts of quirks found in old houses - like finding out your bedroom light is on the same breaker as the freezer in the utility room! That was a huge project you did, but it really is beautiful! Great job!

Yes, it would great if we could see diy organizing from Danie.... Its a beautiful new space. Your creativity is awesome. I love the whole reimagined space and how you brought it to life. Ty for sharing.... Here's a quote from my grandmother "It's the imperfections that make it perfect". Nothing is truly "perfect" it's all in how you perceive it. And I see it as a beautiful and functional space. It's a win win in my book. Again Ty

I love it! Danie, you've done so mush work! All these teeny tiny details, that borrows but should be done, they make a difference of perception. In small work is huge impact. Women power! In my opinion I would make the bottom part (box for vent) either narrower in comparison to dresser depth or has fake fronts as actual dresser. In first example, the dresser could be deeper, bottom part could be painted in color of walls or darker as well as the baseboard under it. It could have front legs, fluted shapes, turned wood, golden metal etc. In case of fake fronts the baseboard should be dark blue. Handles to the fake fronts - yes. Vent cover - maybe its possible to drill a bunch of holes in plywood facade (in some pretty order) and do not use this cover at all. I am obsessed with your wallpaper! By the way in Ukraine its typical to glue real wallpaper, not peel-and-stick one. I use dry glue that diluted with water, it is very handy!

Daniel, your always out doing yourself, every project has its twist and turns, but you strive and overcome. Unlevel floors and funky corners are all part of the experience. Try to embrace them as there part and parcel of an old beautiful house. Carictor is worth it's weight in gold. Concrete floors and walls have no warmth or carictor, they may well be square and plum and it may well be easier to make more squares to fit in them, but would that really make you happy. Every job, diy you have done to improve your beautiful home has a wonderful story to go with it, all adding to the history of the house for many more years to come. I Love each and every story you've let us share in. It's a journey in time and a making of something that will add to a story in the future too. 🤗 🤗 🤗 🤗 🤗

Hi Danie!!! I loved this DIY!!! It's just beautiful!!! I rarely comment (because I am not very good at it) but I got to say I loved how you showed us everything about this project (DIY) including the "good and the bad" (as you mentioned so well in your video) that we don't always see in DIY's in general! Often, or to many times, when we decide to DIY, even though we did all our homework and go through all the proper steps to make it happen, nothing seems to work or go our way and everything gets so complicated that we just want to throw it all through the window and scream and cry and just abandon. I love how you've been honest about it in your video and how ou showed us that DIYing can sometimes be more challenging than what we expected it to be but, in the end, that's what makes it so gratifying!!! ;) xxx

I would’ve left a space for a stool or chair so I can sit comfortably while I do my makeup, but it’s beautiful!!!! So proud of you, as usual. 💖

i love your realness. 🥰 When I have my little mistakes that make far too much of a difference 🙄 I don't feel alone. You are my favorite because of the realness, learning means mistakes and too many gloss over.

Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing the entire project, including the emotional melt down. Projects can be very rough but you showed how to persevere. This is might be my favorite project that I've seen you tackle, well...except for your green house anyway. I would love to see you organize this!

This project is beautiful. It is always fascinating seeing your vision come to fruition. I love it. The only thing I might change is the color of thrifted mirror - paint it the brass color or not. LOL! I really wouldn't change a thing. I loved your raw video of showing your emotion of the drawer debacle. I have cried over projects before and have found it necessary to cleanse the brain and get clarity. Great job Danie. Thanks for sharing.

So, when you were putting it all together at the end it was lovely and THEN you brought in the stained butcher block top and, well, damn. That was IT for me. So beautiful and moody and modern and just lovely! Well done! I have a project for my kitchen that I'd like to tackle but no idea how to start. I have a weird island thing that separates the kitchen from dining room and I want to make a bar that attaches to it so I can get rid of the table that takes up so much space. It's not a big dining room and I already have a hutch that houses some appliances and with a table in the space too, it makes for cramped quarters. Keep on DIY'in Dani!
