I love this man! Preachers are no longer preaching to heal the sin sick soul. They are preaching to keep the money flowing. This world is destroying itself because we are accepting all matters of wrong just to make man happy and content. I know Jamal has his issues, but he didn't sweep them under the rug. As a public servant of God, he dealt with it openly and called it what it was. My hat is off to him because he allowed us to know that he's that Proverb man who fell down 7 times, but yet got up. He didn't allow his bad choice to ruin the good God placed in him nor did he leave us to believe he's sinless and perfect. Salvation is a growing process and we will fall, but we must repent and move forward. I pray more pastors will commit to preaching Truth and not sugar coat sin. I miss that feeling of correction. The only correction given now is when you fail to pay your tithes, and that doesn't condemn you hell.

He loves the individual but not the act of the sin! Preach black man! I understand how people only see an individual "bashing" them but Pastor Bryant is speaking truth! Anyone has anything to say hit me!

Hey look, he was guilty of that sin and paid for it but it doesn't mean that the Word of Yah is weak. Sin and the consequences of sin has no respect of person. If, God forbid, the total message were allowed in any education institution, it would be a false one. That stated, I'm convinced Dr. Bryant believes everything he says.

I'm not a fan of Jamal Bryant actions outside of the pulpit but he spoke the truth of Yahweh in this sermon.

Truth is the new hate speech today. I mean he may not be one of my favorite speakers, and yes he has some skeletons in his closet. But he is preaching the true Word of GOD. GOD's Word says one man and one woman and that's what we will stand one. You can threaten us report us and if GOD allows us to go to prison for the truth, even in prison we will speak the truth.

Hello, sir! I'll do due diligence, some research about that "great mechanic"--- and others purported to be like him/her. I've been burned by mechanics recommended by others. Trust but verify --- that's a reasonable position, yes? I trust in the Lord. He alone needs no verification from me. ME! Because someone claims to be a minister and "knows" the Word, NO! What Dr. Bryant is stating is in the Bible. Yet he hasn't spoken with the context and nuance those so called anti-homosexuality scriptures require. He's simply repeating them with entertaining rhetorical flourishes, fire and brimstone. Because of heterosexual sensibility and Biblical literalism most will buy his interpretation. My conscience, my God-given conscience says, "Wait a minute. Those ancient stories were addressed to heterosexuals." You do understand THOSE PEOPLE were having sexual relations with the opposite sex and their genders and for reasons having nothing to do with pleasure (in many instances). If you did due diligence regarding those stories you'd never, not in a million years, say what you have. An ax murder is not about the ax. Those Biblical scriptures are not about homosexuals and their behavior. The truth lay in God's Word. Sometimes it's important to read between the lines to discern it. This is one of those times. To understand them you have to do some work. Most have not. And here we are.

I'm tripping on how in these days more and more people are believing that because they have gone along with the status quo, or because they have read a few more books than usual, they are now somehow enlightened. While that may be true from a world perspective, but according to the word of God, (which by the way is the only thing that matters), the opposite is true. Rom. 1:22-28 puts it plainly; professing themselves to be wise, they have become fools ( by biblical standards) So I guess the only real question is, "Whose standards are we trying to live up to?"

What's in the bible is what the Lord intended to be in it & what's not in it, the same is true. I've read all about the so called excluded gospels. They're excluded because they're not gospels at all. Of course the Lord knew we would argue about the word, that's why the Apostle Paul wrote, avoid vain babbling and arguments that would do nothing but lead to strife.. Find out why part of your comment is something "profane," at least according to Scripture. Furthermore you're wedded to that pesky "abomination" word, one which has NO counterpart in the original Hebrew Scriptures, at least how you're using it. And it most certainly wasn't used to describe homosexuality. The OLD English translation is in error and you need to find out why. Look up the Hebrew terms "sheketz" and "toevah." For someone so convinced of his Biblical knowledge, you really have a ways to go, as do I. But an elementary knowledge of Scripture is fine if you're in 3rd Grade. But you aren't in the 3rd Grade, are you St. Patrick?

We must make sure that as much as possible we represent our truth in accordance with the Truth. If we aspire to be honest then we have to first be honest with ourselves. If we are not willing to a line our lives with the Truth of the Holy Bible (God's Word) that we ascribe to be upholding, then we have not yet fully accepted our own truth. Own Up To The Truth, not just your own!

Even the bible states Judges 2:17 Yet they did not listen to their judges, for they whored after other gods and bowed down to them. They soon turned aside from the way in which their fathers had walked, who had obeyed the commandments of the LORD, and they did not do so.

Does this in anyway sound like the teachings of Yahshua? The suit is a clue to his motivation. Pastors where business suits on Sunday's because it is a work day. They are businessmen.

So how can God judge someone for their sin if its been paid for? that would be double jeopardy and if God turns away a sinner He would have to appologize to Jesus! so we need to be pointing sinners to Christ and stop condemning sinners because of their sin but warn them that sin all it does is bring pain and suffering to ourselves but that sin isnt the issue because we are saved by what Christ did not by what we did! Jesus has to get all the glory in all our righteousness! we are saved by faith in Him not by us turning from sin! is that truth or not? its truth but the devil wants to keep everyone fooled! Jesus told the Pharisees "tax collectors and prostitutes will enter heaven before you do!" how is that so? a pharisee is a self righteous person and would not admit he was a sinner and a sinner all he has to do is admit he is a sinner and that his righteousness only comes through Jesus by faith! Right believing produces right living! now i have such a gratitude for Jesus like never before because my mind has changed and i can careless about doing things that would hurt Him because He paid a high price for Us! everyone sins still everyone but us that believe that we are righteous by faith in Christ is like we never sinned and can not lose our righteousness because of sin because we didnt achieve it to begin so how can we lose it? Jesus said to Peter, launch out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch." and when they had done this, they caught a great number of fish! when simon peter saw it, saw what? the goodness of God, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, "depart from me, for i am a sinful man, O Lord!" About those "men lying with men" and similar scriptures: 1 --- In ancient times numerous women avoided pregnancy because so many died during pregnancy or while giving birth. As important many babies died in utero or during or shortly after birth. And numerous children died before puberty. Putting this in context helps demonstrate how ""homosexual and "homosexuality," the individual and the act, are not the same. 2 --- The Ancient Near East, Rome and Greece were interesting places for many reasons, especially sexually. Individuals were having sexual relations with the opposite sex --- and their genders! ---and, in many instances, for reasons in addition to pleasure. Because of cults, the cult of temple prostitution, for example, for ceremonial reasons, for men vanquished by war or violence, for dominance, or for the acceptance of pederasty (boy-man love), etc., heterosexual folk were having sexual relations with their own genders and the opposite one. Orgies and traditional prostitution were popular as well. They were heterosexuals engaging in acts of homosexuality (anal intercourse). An ax murder is not about the ax. Those Biblical scriptures are not about homosexuals and their behavior. 3 - God and the prophets understood if heterosexuals engaged in homosexuality, human populations and their cultures would be decimated. (Numerous woman avoided sex like 'the plague,' and many men engaged their own sex as a result.) Consider male homosexuality in prison. The overwhelming majority of those engaging in sexual relations with their genders are heterosexual. I understand many would say those men are really homosexual, but I don't think so. These men engage in same-sex relations for pleasure, dominance and the absence of women. Homosexuals and homosexuality are not necessarily the same things. It's an important distinction with a difference. To understand these Scriptures we have to do some work and, for whatever reasons, most have not. Studying them enables us to add CONTEXT. To" know" the Bible completely isn't possible, as it takes forever and a day. But we should at least try to understand it for the enduring masterpiece it is. *ABOMINATION" is a grossly inaccurate translation of the original Hebrew terms "toevah" and "sheketz," words used to describe some moral or ethical failing, cult behavior, or idolatry practiced by other peoples, something to be avoided by Israelites, something TABOO. The word "abomination" is a mis-translation. According to the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament), wearing certain clothing, eating particular shell-fish and meat, lying, remarriage, not keeping kosher, fornication, adultery, misbehaving children, lewd sexuality in a cultic fashion, male homosexuality, worshiping idols and false gods, practicing witchcraft, , etc., are TABOO (toevah or sheketz). By the current Biblical standard, one using that poor translation, most could be labeled "abominations unto the Lord." Why are we pointing to one class of people, homosexuals, as the personification of the term? I don't think God had "homosexuals" on His mind. Jesus Christ had nothing to say about them. Nothing. Nor did the prophets. Some here have mentioned curing homosexuals through prayer. This is not possible for the overwhelming majority of THOSE PEOPLE. What many have done, for whatever reason, is sublimate their desires. About curing folks through REPARATIVE THERAPY(S): There was NEVER reason for medical/mental health professions to label homosexuality a sickness because, as it found out, it wasn't. Today the overwhelming majority understand it's genetic or genetic/environmental. Homosexuals seeing psychiatrists and clinical psychologists went because some folks were arrested for engaging in sexual acts, including in their own homes, and ordered to in lieu of incarceration; some were sent by family after being "discovered;" many were verbally and/or physically victimized, including raped for being homosexual --- or perceived to be, and internalized their oppression, couldn't function on a daily basis, and became clinically depressed; some individuals were on the fence and wanted to reverse their suspicions. But for heterosexual misbehavior, homosexuals folks would be fine. "If you can't say anything good about somebody or something, don't say anything," Mama said. REPARATIVE THERAPIES ARE DEAD. GOOD. Learning that sexuality has no borders, that homosexuality has been with us since time, and that there's nothing new under the sun would serve us. King Alejandro your personal feelings don’t coincide with Gods perspectives! If he said it’s a sin, then it’s a sin! A thief can feel like stealing is innocent, but it won’t change the judges decision on his iniquity. Repent brother, we are all struggling with our sins, but we have to repent. Love you.

No one i saying that people who are gay don't matter and should be shunned, we are just concluding as per the word of God that man on man and woman on woman relationships is wrong. That doesn't mean we don't love the people who commit the sin, we're just saying that the act is incorrect as made clear by God.

Proverb 14:12, There is a way which seems right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
